No, I do not like your ugly hair bows

I keep getting requests from FB friends to like things.  Some of them make sense - Joe started a band, his band has a page and they need fans.  Ok.   But some are things that are completely irrelevant, like a high school friends hair bow business (remember that I am not the mother of a small girl) or a restaurant in their town that is just someplace they like, not their own business.  And then today there was a request for me to like some dude who is a famous bird watcher or something. Your hobbies are not my hobbies, lady.

    ::whistles innocently:: I may have sent out a request the other day to all my friends to like Card Cupids...but it's a good cause dangit!
    only three people I sent it to actually "liked" it though.

    I think it is different when it is actually something you are involved with.  I will like your band, your blog, etc.  Just not your catalog scam business or your local Applebees.

    i'm the mother of a small girl, and laughed when i got one of those bow requests.

    "my friend is starting a new business!!! ugly hair bows!!!" 

    a trip to Hobby Lobby and 2 minutes with my hot glue gun and I could pop out about 10 of those ugly Duggar bows for which she's charging $15/each. you will never see my kid with one of those on her head.
