Have we discussed Kim Kardashian's wedding yet?

I heard it cost somewhere between $10 and $20 million, although there were substantial "donations" from vendors, I'm sure b/c they wanted their wares to be seen on the FOUR HOUR special.

And her ring is GI.NOR.MOUS.

    Her ring is pretty, yet kind of... ugly. it's just WAY too big for daily wear. I'd feel scared wearing that too, like I'd be robbed any moment.  And I'm not a fan of her wedding band with that engagement ring. I am looking forward to seeing the special though, but I didn't like the white/black theme. Didn't make her as a bride seem so special...

    Incredibly excessive, but that's a celebrity wedding for you. It is indeed a gorgeous ring, though. I read on Yahoo! News that they chose a wedding photo of Kim without her DH in it because he's so tall that it was hard to find a shot of both of them that would fit on the cover.

    Her ring looks fake.

    You know, I am obsessed with the entertainment industry but honestly didn't give a rat's patootie about KK's wedding. I don't really care about any of the Kardashians.

    I also felt it was excessive but I didn't really expect anything else from her.  I will totally be watching the special though and checking out the details.  I haven't even seen the BM dresses yet and am curios about those too.  Has anyone seen them?

    (and talk about the heigh difference ther - whoa mama!!)

    Those rings are ridiculous.  I mean, I'm all about the bling and I do like large-ish stones, but holy hell.  No.

    I won't lie, though.  I'll be making sure to DVR the special wedding episodes when they air.

    And while we're discussing the wedding, would it be really mean to discuss the marriage as well?  I just don't feel like it's going to last.  It's never exactly been a secret that Kim wanted to get married and settle down, so I think she may have rushed into it a teensy bit.

    There's a topic with pics over on SB.  I was actually surprised at how kind of boring her dresses were (all of them).  And that headband thing she wore was really distracting and I didn't like it at all.  Lastly her ring is ugly. I'm sorry, but that's just too big that it looks really stupid on her hand and it definitely doesn't look good with that band.  But I also may be overly critical because I think her whole family and their show is fvcking annoying....

    I LOVE KIM K!!!!

    That being said the ring is ridiculous. I'm hoping her plan is to just wear the band most of the time, its big enough on its own. Also I read an article that she had several CZ versions of her ring made as "dummies" in case of theft.

    Also, I am disappointed in her wedding dresses and BM dresses. They weren't what I had hoped for :(

    I give it a year...TOPS.

    You know, whatever.  Who the hell does she think she is?  She makes some outrageous sum of money because once upon a time, she made a sex tape?!  Dude, I'm making a sex tape if that's all it takes.

    Also, it really pisses me off that she MADE 17.5 Million off of her wedding.  Seriously biitch?  You're making millions off your wedding, and here I am, scrounging up pennies out of the couch to pay off my student loans, and let's not even talk about the wedding fund (it has $10 in it currently...what does that buy me?  A boutonniere?)

    I think that the ring would look better if she didn't have the wedding band. They don't go together well. She should have chosen a super thin plain gold wedding band.  Although I guess that's not her style. 

    I thought it was ridiculous that she had 3 $20K dresses donated.  As if she couldn't afford them?  

    I think her makeup looked nice, but it pretty much looked like her everyday look.  Maybe that's the point?  

    That's really all I know about the wedding.

    I thought the same thing. It's just too much bling that really doesn't go together. It's like she's on her way to jeweled brass knuckles.

    ETA: looked at the photos. Those dresses are strangely plain. I expected over the top bedazzled dresses from her. I don't like the necklace as a headband thing, and while I think the BM dresses are pretty, it's odd that they're wedding dresses.

    I think her ring is ridiculous. It just looks tacky and very AW, IMO. Although, I tend to think KK is an AW anyway. I didn't mind her dresses, but I really didn't care for the headband thing.

    I also can't believe she MADE money off of her wedding, especially that much! I seriously hope she does something productive with it, like donates it to a worthy cause. I'm not holding my breath though.

    Am I the only one who kinda liked the headband?  It's not something I would wear for myself, and I would have liked it better if it weren't so blingy, but I thought it worked.

    I didn't <em>dislike</em> them, I was just underwhelmed.  For someone that has that tacky and AW of a ring, she went with pretty "safe" choices for a dress.  I just feel like I've seen them all before, so I really don't get how they were $20K each.

    I didn't look at the pictures too closely, so I must have missed that.  Also (and I'm probably about to reveal my utter cluelessness here) I thought Avril was married to that Sum41 guy?  I'm shocked to hear it didn't work out.

    I think that the headband didn't look good with that hair and veil.  It would have looked good with her hair down and no veil.
