It was a separate comb that went over the comb attached to my veil. I got it at Alfred Angelo. Here is a pic of my MUA putting it in:

Chelley, I am sure you can find a similar comb online--it doesn't have to be from Alfred Angelo.

You should come over and check out the retro board. We are doing a project right now where we all watched tutorials on pin up hairstyles and then took pics of ourselves. It's fun.

i love this! there's still a possibility it could be down but the look would be pretty much the same. but this is almost exactly what was in my head!! except maybe the hair a little bigger & some strands coming down.. i saw this as an ad & it was pretty hard to find the pic of it but i did finally yay!! lol even the makeup is what i'm doing but i'll do it a bit darker & with lashes..

I have naturally curly hair that I never straighten or blow out, so I wanted to leave my curls so my husband would recognize me, LOL.

My stylist basically just arranged my curls into a half-up style, fixing them at the back. I wore a jeweled headband.

It only took her 20 minutes (and 36 bobby pins) to do my hair.

Sarah this a BEAUTIFUL hair inspiration...if I wasn't dead set on a half updo I'd take it as my own inspiration!
