Tattoo?

Hi NOLA ladies! I'm a Boston bride getting married this Saturday - FI and I will be spending a few days in New Orleans at the tail end of our honeymoon. I've never been, and I can't wait to check out the city! We'll be staying at the Royal Sonesta on Bourbon Street. :-)

I've been toying with the idea of getting a tattoo while we're in town... this would be my first so I'm still thinking about it... but does anyone have any tattoo shop recommendations? I found a few online, but I figured some of you might have a tip.

    I got mine done at electric ladyland and I loved how it turned out! I originally brought in a picture of what i wanted but then the guy redrew it for me and it looked 10x better! His name was Ed Dieringer and I would definitely ask for him if you decide to go here.  He even charged me $50 less than the front office lady quoted me because he thought with the size and detail it shouldn't have been too expensive. So yeah he was really honest and talented.  He's pretty quiet tho so dont expect too much conversation :) I think it means hes concentrating on getting your tattoo perfect lol.  Good luck and I hope it turns out great for ya!

    Yup, def go with electric ladyland.  Many of my friends go there and the tats are awesome!  I hope you enjoy your stay down here in NOLA :)
