Videographer- Help!

Hi Ladies-
Does anyone have any recommendations for a videographer? I've looked into Tim Robinson, Martin's Video and Stomping Bread. Has anyone used any of these videographers? Any feedback will help. Thank you!

I am using Per Sempre Videos, amazing work! I know a few of the girls here have used him and loved his work. He is a really nice person and follows up with his emails often so there is no waiting for an answer. www.persemprevideos.com

We're using Jack Otepka. He used to work for Martin and he does good work for a good price! If you google him, you'll find his website (I'm at work and can't access anything, it stinks!) and you can email him for all his prices. The package we're doing is $650 and its the same as martin's popular package. he has cheaper and more expensive package. Him and his wife are so nice and easy to work with. I'm really happy to have him! he's also pretty quick to respond and always answers his phone!

I am using Ken Stillman and have had a great experience so far, although I know his videos take longer to get back than some other videographers. If you can wait, his work is worth it.

DO NOT GO WITH DAVE DFAFMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll tell you why. His work is absolute JUNK. Every video he edits is so damn cheesy AND he uses his own music in his video. You have no say. He only uses Beatles songs. How do I know this? Because he did my fiances cousins wedding and my fiances sister in laws within 3 months of each other and I was at both weddings. Oh and I forgot. Make sure if you meet him that you tell him not to drink. He got totally drunk at both weddings and sat for most of it. I think he taped about 20 minutes of real dancing. Ironically Musicheals BLASTS Ken Stillman for turnaround time yet the first videographer she chose went out of business and now she chose a cheesy drunk. I wouldn't way much on her opinion.

SlyDog - get off the boards. Don't treat Jodi that way, she doesn't deserve it. Picking fights on message boards is cowardice. Just go away.

If her videographer is that poor, there is a better way to tell her - instead you choose to attack her and it is very evident the attack is personal. Your opinion, therefore, doesn't count because it is clouded by what appears to be a personal issue between you and Jodi.

First she sh*t on my wedding dress prize by bashing Wedding Belles, now she sh*ts on my choice of videographer. I did nothing to her to deserve these personal attacks. Furthermore, I think she's making sh*t up about vendors that isn't even true.

Again. Do not use Dave Pfafman. He's a drunk and a shiity videographer. Musicheals bashes Ken all the time and my post gets removed. That's funny. Musicheals should keep her big fat mouth shut. Both literally and figrratively

I"m using D.P. and am sooo happy with him! I've seen his work and there weren't any Beetles songs on the DVD. I also thought the quality of the DVD was great.

And, furthermore, SlyDog, I never bashed Ken Stillman. I just showed another bride a link in which a bunch of brides were unhappy with him. Luckily, the majority of brides seem happy with him. Get your facts straight!

Just so you girls don't think I'm nuts. My issue with Music is that ANYTIME Ken's name is mentioned she is SO QUICK to bash him YET she books a videographer for $300 and goes out of business then scrambles to find another and she found a drunk.

And its her own choice who she wants as her videographer, just don't be mean and leave her alone. I didn't read what you said to her but I am sure it was pretty bad.

Courtfran asked for suggestions on who to use, not who NOT TO use. Attacks like this don't help a bride. You just clouded this issue for this bride. All she wanted was some starting point and you turned it into an attack of this other videographer.

So the questions is - what is your beef with this videographer? If you haven't used them or had any personal experience with him than you really have to right to comment on him or his work.

SlyDog - why do you care so much? I am using Ken and I like him so far. I recall Music's posts and she just pointed out that prior posters had concerns. I don't recall a "bashing."

Do you know him personally? Are you related? Why do you vehemently defend him?

The purpose of the Boards is for people to share their experiences, or information (from whatever source). You are being rude, obnoxious and totally inappropriate for NO GOOD REASON. SO STOP. GET IT? Just freaking stop!
