We met through mutual friends. I was going to college and my roommate was from FI's hometown (which was close to our school). She had a bunch of older guy friends who had a house that we partied at a lot. FI went to college out of state, but came back often to see his friends (whose house roommate and I partied at) and...uh....his girlfriend, at the time. Then he and girlfriend broke up, and he asked me out.

Dude, they were loooonnnnggg on the way out when K and I started talking. And we waited to go out or uh...well...DO anything (ha, I'm 12) until after they were broken up. I figured I'd be a rebound, that's all I was was really looking for...and now, 5 years later...we're getting married. I'm still not really sure what happened...ha.

I know what you mean. I had just broken up with ex (well...almost just broken up with. FI may have been my deciding factor) when he and I started talking, and he had just gotten out of a really bad 5 year relationship with a crazy lady who stalked him for a year after that. He had just moved home to get away from her. We ended up hitting it off like mad, but when he invited me down I was still kind of trying to work on it with ex. Ex happened to find someone else, told me to eff off, and I was on a bus to see FI a week later.
But then we realized we were fvcking awesome together, and that was that =D

Tell us about yourself. I'm 25, a mom to the coolest almost two year old (IMO), spend my free time with my DD, FI and 2 dogs, and working on wedding stuff right now.
Why don't you post much? I just started a new job & I can't post from work. When I get home, my nights consist of making dinner, doing laundry, spending time with my DD, and putting her to bed. Then, if I can, I'll get on TK.

What made you pick SB to lurk on? It's obviously the best board on TK. Oh, and it's hilarious.
Do you lurk anywhere else? Post somewhere? I post on the Philly & DE boards, as well as my month board. Which is insanely slow right now.
Favorites and least favorites? MIAF, AATB, Katiewhompus & J&K are my faves. OWN gives great advice, as does LessThanZero. Any is pretty cool too. I'm not a huge fan of MISSCOURTNEY, but mainly because I side-eye some of her posts.
