I got married in NJ in 2004, and I used theknot SO MUCH in my planning. I just logged on today because our nanny (I now have twin girls, 2.5 years old) just got engaged, and I was telling her about how incredibly helpful this site was. I wanted to give her a tour of the site (she's not very computer-savvy).
So here's my question: when I was planning my wedding, I got ideas by clicking on a username and looking at their "planning profile." People would list things like which photographer they chose, where they were getting married, ideas for favors or flowers or whatnot... there were usually lots of pictures, too, of things they were considering. I've only spent a few minutes looking today, and I see that the site is VERY different than it was in 2004, and I'm not seeing these sorts of profiles anymore. Am I missing them? Is there somewhere I should be looking for this sort of thing?
