Wedding movies

My aunt is throwing my shower in 2 weeks.  The shower will be in the evening at a tea room.  The tea room has an outdoor movie screen so after dinner we'll go outside to watch a movie under the starts and have movie candy and popcorn.  My aunt wants to know which movie we should show?  I want a wedding themed movie without a lot of sex, and no cheating brides or grooms.  I'm thinking maybe Father of the Bride or My Best Friend's Wedding?  Does anyone have any suggestions?  Thanks!

Father of the Bride.  Definitely!  I love all of those movies.  Steve Martin and Martin Short rock it!

Father of the Bride over My Best Friend's Wedding.

MBFW is all about Julia Roberts trying to break up a marriage!  And Cameron Diaz is crazy annoying in that movie.

I also love Three Men and a Little Lady and Sweet Home Alabama.  Both weddings, while definitely to the correct people, aren't orginally planned as such, though :-)

They have an older version of Father of the Bride, too, with Elizabeth Taylor.

I don't know if you're an Adam Sandler fan but I love The Wedding Singer :)

Father of the Bride over My Best Friend's Wedding for SURE. i spend My Best Friend's Wedding being so uncomfortably embarassed for Julia Robert's character. oi. another one to avoid would be Made of Honor.

Another one I love is "The Wedding Date"... although that does have a short sex scene now that I think about it, and there's always "Bride Wars" which I adore. I think it has a great message about NOT becoming a bridezilla and also about being with someone who loves you for who you are. =P

27 Dresses is one of my favorites, even though it's technically about the bridesmaid, she does get married in the end!

I can't remember if Runaway Bride has a sex scene in it or not, but i'm going to guess it does. but i also remember that being a great movie.

Guess my choice isn't a popular one and I may be biased, but I would choose My Best Friend's Wedding. It's one of my all-time favorite movies, and it wouldn't bother me that it's about someone breaking up a wedding.

I love Father of the bride, it's amazing!  So that's where my vote is.

Apparently my dad keeps in touch with one of his old fraternity brothers who also has a daughter getting married this year.  So my parents got together with his wife and him for dinner and a movie (father of the bride) a few months ago.  I think the movie can be enjoyed by all age groups.

My vote is for Bride Wars. Loved it. It's PG so you know it won't have sex or language. Also, if your junior bridesmaid(s), flower girl(s), or younger sister(s) wants to come, she wont feel left out and it's a family movie.
