Anyone using Michelle Toner for photography PLEASE read!!

If you haven't heard already, I wrote an email to her last night.  I got an auto response stating that she is no long conducting business.  It says if you have a future appointment with her to provide you address for a refund.  It further stated that if you were waiting on a product that a refund would be provided for that too.  I just had my pictures done 12 days ago, and may never see them. I figure I would warn the future brides so that they can hopefully find a last minute back up!!

    Oh my gosh. That is awful. I can understand if she has something super important (like a health issue or some other serious issue) and wouldn't be able to do any future business, but to not even finish the business she's already started with someone??? That's just not cool to do that. At all. Money can't replace those pictures of memories that can't be replaced. I really hope that's not correct and that you're going to get your pictures. I know I would seriously be upset. I'm so sorry!

    Hopefully she will still fulfill your order since the pictures have already been taken!! Good luck; I'm sorry you have to deal with this!

    That's a disgrace, I'm so sorry to hear that! You'd think they could at least send out a DVD with your photo's on?! I really hope they do.

    omg!  I would be so upset!  Hopefully she will at least send you a cd.  Even if they aren't retouched maybe you could get someone else to do that for you?  I would send a nice email first asking, even if I didn't mean it :)  

    I was wondering who you guys were talking about in a previous post.  I guess this is her.  Didn't someone have a appt with her coming up?

    I sent an email begging for the pictures, even if they weren't editted or anything already.  I haven't received a reply to my email, but I am just hoping and waiting now.  It is even worse because I could view the pictures online and now they have been removed, so I even got to see how good they were!!  Its soooo sad!

    Oh, Bobbi!  That's awful!  Like everyone else here, I really hope it works out for you.  If she already took the pictures and they were even once online, I'm guessing you'll be fine. I mean, how hard is it to drop a DVD in the mail?  But the future brides that had her booked, especially anyone with an imminent date...yikes!

    Bobbi...Did you get a contract?  You should read through it about deliverying the product.  I agree no matter what her issues may be, the photos have been taken and she has an obligation to send you at least a DVD of all the images unedited if you were given the copywright to the pictures she took of you.

    You've got to be kidding me!  Oh wow, I wish you luck.  IF you're able to get a DVD of the images and they aren't edited... let me know if you need any assistance editing and I can help.

    Yeah :( I booked her for July 11, and found out 2.5 weeks ago that she can't make it.  After 1 week of unanswered emails, her daughter finally replied about the refund.  Perhaps, you can try to call her daughter? 

    I hope you can at least get your dvd.

    Good grief, the hits just keep coming in for this photographer. I'm sorry she is having personal difficulties but I feel even worse for you Bobbi.  I will echo the sentiments ... I hope you are able to get your photos on disc.  Please keep us posted, wishing you the best and hope it works out!

    I do have the contract, but there isn't really anything I can do.  It says that I would have online posting and the DVD, but there isn't anything I can do if it doesn't work out, other than filing in small claims court, and flying to Nevada again, which would cost me a lot of money.  So all I can do is hope and pray that it works out.

    That is so sad! I'm so sorry. I agree no refund is going to bring give you the pictures/memories of you big day. Read through your contract and hopefully your pictures will be sent.

    I got it!!  Thank you soooo much!!  I am going to watch my mail for a few days to see if my pictures come, and if not I will contact the daughter!!

    I'm so sorry that happened to you. She's been pulling shady stunts like this for a long time. :( I wouldn't trust her or Dane Whatshisface ever.

    I remember someone posted on this forum about this photographer having health issues that resulted in her being in the hospital: Perhaps the current difficulties are related to that.

    OMG. . I am sure  some one in her office can send you a dvd of the pictures or something, If she took the picture then their is no reason that someone can not send you something.I hope you that you receive you pictures

    An FYI for anyone in need - my photographer Deacon Tyler said on his FB page that he will do his best to help out couples that have been left without a photographer, or if you need photo processing.  http://www.dtyler-photography.com/

    That really is rather awesome of him. I know its a smart business decision too but definetly adds more stress to his day! Good for him!
