Wedding website?

Hi everyone!

There are so many different wedding website options out there!  I have no idea which sites are easiest to use (theKnot, ewedding, weddingwire, etc). I want something easy, that doesn't have a super long/complicated URL.
Which one did you use & do you have link I can check out?

Thank you! Smile

DEFINITELY WEEBLY.COM. We're doing our RSVP's through them and it has been FLAWless!!! So happy with it! So much more customizable too! Check ours out! It's in my signature!!! http://www.benandlauren.weebly.com

I'm using WeddingWire for our site that guests will see. I've found their template to be super easy to use, plus they have a lot of bakcgrounds to choose from which is nice. They also have a lot of 'apps' that you can add on like a Reception Music Request and Maps.

I used Weebly for my planning Bio
and Weddingwire for my actual website for guests to see.

I've looked into a lot of sites and I like The Knot's the best. EXCEPT - this summer, two of my friends used The Knot for theirs, and we had difficulty multiple times actually getting to the address. The site kept redirecting us to TheKnot.com, even when we put the URL in correctly. This wasn't a huge deal because it seemed to work correctly after 3-4 tries, but for people (esp. relatives) who aren't familiar with TheKnot wedding sites, they would probably give up or think they had the URL wrong!

I would use blogger or wordpress except neither has an RSVP option. Sigh.

We used weebly for the planning bios:
    stephjeremywedding.weebly.com
    stephjeremymarried.weebly.com

and we used TK's for the site for guests (but it never got much traffic, to be honest.)

I have a planning bio through Weebly.  However, for guests, FI bought our own url with our names and created a website.  We haven't released it to our guests yet because it's still a work in progress, but it will be on our std cards.  FI also wants to put one a QR code on our std that leads to the website.  Apparently we're having a techie wedding.......

@AET - YES! The great thing about Weebly is it will link to your website. It's so convenient and we've gotten so many raves about it. PLUS it's free! :) We actually created a new website for the wedding that we both can check through gmail. Just used our date spelt out as the email address. Then just synched it so that our RSVP's from Weebly go there. Our RSVP's have been flawless so far and everyone has been accounted for. I can't say anything negative about weebly. Plus, I'm a techie of sorts so I liked being able to create my own look/feel of the site rather than w/ a template that others have. :)

Weebly! It's super user friendly and really easy to customize! I originally used weebly for the planning site and mywedding.com for the guests, but I quickly got frustrated with mywedding.com and it's lack of options and customization so I started over and completely redid our guest site on Weebly and I'm super happy with how it turned out. I have a link in my bio the planning site and if you PM me I'll send you a link to the guest site if you want.

Another vote for Weebly, I've used it for both my planning and guest sites.  I loved that I could edit the CSS code and add in my own custom theme to match my invitations.

We used mywedding.com... primarily because of the simple URL!  The format isn't as flexible or customizable as weebly, but they do have a lot of beautiful templates compared to the limited selection on the knot.  Several of my friends have also used mywedding.com and they also had a lot of success with the RSVP function!  I'd send you the link to mine, but I actually took it down yesterday since it really doesn't serve any function 3 months after our wedding :)
