Hey , I'm so sorry you r going thru this. Not seeing you on mother's day bc mother in law more important. Nonsense . Sounds like the gf is a chip off old block of mom. Sounds like sons gf is a well....brat. idk best advice other than talk to your soon about how you'd like to be with him more , or make plans to take walks, lunches , etc things that don't break the bank. Invite son and gf or if gf doesn't come just son. Start to do all you can to make effort to be with son away from this so he can make sure it's what he wants . You are his mother , you deserve to be held high

This week I'll be meeting with my boss to hopefully discuss new job opportunities, waiting to hear if my stepdad gets a new job (he's in the running for a full-time job with benefits, and since he was laid off he really needs it), and finding out from the vet whether or not Whisky can handle being put under for a dental. If so, that will be my Friday.
Other than that, same old same old going on around here. How was your weekend?
I'm considering boycotting Monday. I am just really NOT feeling it.
I hate doing oil changes, and FI doesn't know how, so I made an appointment to get mine done tmro afternoon.
Usually Mondays don't bother me, but this one puts the suck in sucksational.

Do not mess in the affairs of dinosaurs because you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
I love you Missy. Even though you are not smart enough to take online quizzes to find out really important information. ~cew
NS, how was your weekend? Did you manage to get some alone time?
[QUOTE]See, that's why I sleep with my mechanic. :) H is a master mechanic. what he can't do, he has connections for. He's pretty handy to have around.

See Missy I just sleep with my DH and he pays for my car service....hehe.
No really I needed my oil changed and tires rotated, which I was prepared for, but then I get the call I need rear brakes and rotors. So $500 later, I told him it could be my b-day present.
BTW-good morning ladies this being without a computer sucks!
I ditto the "getting personal stuff done at work" kind of day. We boarded our dog over the weekend, and were not impressed. I'm now hunting around for other options.
I need to figure out when my dentist appointment is; I want another cleaning before the wedding

We actually have a Pet Sitter, we travel quite a bit and with a dog and cat we didnt want to disturb them by taking them out of their environment. She is a little expensive but she's worth it for our piece of mind.

We don't travel too much, yet. We might look into this when we do, though. My sister is moving to Minneapolis next year, too, so we'll probably just take advantage of her anyway. :)

Yeah it was great when I lived next door to my mother. But then I moved 3 hours away from any family. And we know no one in our town so the first vacation we scrambled to find someone that our dog would let in the house, she loves her. I call her the dog whisperer.
[QUOTE]We were pretty much together the whole weekend, but I got to feeling less surly so it was okay.

So I take this to mean "he" survived the weekend. How was the car trip?
BTW- every time I see your picture you remind me of one of my friends.
I had a weird asses nightmare where my chinchilla got put outside and ran away and then I was crying and went to talk to Sucrets about it but she was in the hospital because she was allergic to strep throat (my sil is currently going through this) and no one could find her there and then it turned into a vet's office. Then my cat stepped on my face (irl ) and woke me up so I don't know how it ended.
Now I'm in a cranky mood and trying not to be bitter and mean towards knotties to get rid of the crankiness (and because of other things but trying not to be a cuntface)

[QUOTE]The car trip was fine and relatively uneventful mostly just reading or doing the word game we play. The wedding we traveled for was a little bit interesting though. I hope your friend is awesome.

Of course she's awesome. She was my Asst. Manager where we used to work.
Tell me more about this interesting wedding. I'm bored.
That sounds like an evening from he!!. I'm sorry, I think some people try to be funny at some weddings and it just comes off tacky, it's not a roast for gods sake.
And I hate pancakes too, people think I'm weird. Guess not!
The BM speech "I remember meeting Sarah, when she was sucking Mike's diick (he really said that) in a bathroom at a party. We knew then she was a whore, but at least now she's Mike's whore, hopefully she'll remain faithful to him now that there's a ring on her finger because she sure wasn't before!"
He then gave him a pair of pants because "everyone knew he wasn't the one wearing the pants in the relationship"
The Moh (her best friend): I think anyone who knows them knows that Mike and Sarah are perfect for each other. He's kind of an asshole and she's a super bitch, so they will keep each other in check in public so the rest of us can stand them."
Yeah...they were not amused, and neither were their grandparents. We were laughing hysterically in the back of the room.

NS - so glad to hear that you got that rash checked out. I'm no doctor, but I would say that oozing puss and hot dog fingers is never a good sign.
Married - Yay for free dinosaur rides! I really need to start calling into those radio contests.
kd - I've heard that dogs can sometimes get stuck together after the deed. That must have been pretty traumatizing for you. Glad you were able to find the hose.
katie -Sleep boners aren't that big of a deal. Just ignore it. Bless his heart.
Katie, that is HORRIFYING!
I love pancakes. But serving pancakes at an evening wedding seems really weird to me. Who catered? IHOP?
