Bourne mansion expensive

Hi!! Newly engaged and just began looking at venues! Love the Bourne Mansion but expensive. Can anyone tell me what they paid per head or will pay so I know if I should negotiate or not waste my time! They quoted me at 175/ head with 5000 site fee!

    Sounds about right to me.  I am not getting married there, but that's about the price they emailed me when I requested information.

    (Also, even if someone else got quoted or paid a lower price, what would that have to do with your wedding?  I mean, they quoted you that price because that's the price they're going to charge for the date and time that you want.  It's a pretty popular venue, so they have no real reason to negotiate with you - and my experience with Lessings is that their prices are pretty fixed.)
