So this is technically from Saturday, but my phone is weird and decided to wait until today to let me see the picture I took of my Grandma in her dress Saturday. It needs to be hemmed, but I love it.

What has everyone else gotten accomplished?

Thanks Ash, I love my grandma. She's adorable and believe it or not, 80 years old. She still works, drives, everything. Thankfully, I take after her a lot.

That sounds exciting! I'm kinda jealous. Our bedroom is going to be unmatched for quite some time. He has a really nice matress, but no head board. He has a long dresser and I'll be bringing a tall dresser. Thankfully, I at least think they're close to the same color wood.

Jess- SO cute!! Love it!!

I have gotten a lot check off over the last few days!!

But first..... here is a picture of Carter and his countdown to the wedding chain (for anyone who missed it on FB).

I picked my dress up on Friday and decided on a veil style (cathedral with lace), which I am having my DOC/steamstress make.

I met with my DOC/seamstress on Saturday and tried my mom's dress on for her... she said she can get it all fixed up so I can wear it for the last dance and she is going to make me a birdcage veil. So excited!!!

My etsy order for our 21 pomanders for the ceremony came in.... they turned out PERFECT!!!

Today we are taking Carter in for his 4 yr check up.... then I am dropping off my ring to get resized. FINALLY!

ETA: The graphic designer is working on our programs, invites, and RD invites tonight... or and photo share cards and they should be done tonight and printed on Friday... wooo hooo!! And the card stock came in for the invite backer as well as the fan sticks for the ceremony programs! Things are really falling into place!

Aww soo pretty. I ordered a lot of things this weekend. Got the bridesmaids totes and necklaces. Also going to fill them with other things. Got my flower girl and ring bearer gifts. Also got our toasting flutes, guest book & personalized cocktail napkins. Also receivedy overlays, napkins and chair covers this weekend

Aww Midge I love your grandma, that dress looks awesome on her!

I finished putting together the bouquets, now I'm just waiting for the ribbon to come in so they can be totally done.

I'm hoping by the end of today to have all the invitation stuff printed out, the bouts done, a couple of signs printed out, the cardbox completed, the candy table bags, stamp for the bags and scoops ordered, and to complete the hanger for my dress. All that mixed in with laundry and cleaning up; I like random holidays off I can get so much accomplished because Fi works!

Chelsea, was it you that had the cousin that was going to do the stationary stuff but was busy and didn't let you know she was still interested until she was sending you a sample? If so, how did that turn out? If not, ignore me. lol

I spent my weekend with FMIL. She started on the alterations for my dress and we made my ring bear pillow. We also finally decided on what we wanted to do for the center pieces.

Ring Bearer Pillow

The centerpieces will be just like this but with one pink, yellow, and orange gerbera daisy. I still need to get the vases. They will be similar to this one.

This past weekend I got all my appointments made for nails and hair. My mom offered to pay for it which was a great surprise. I think I have decided on bridesmaid gifts. We picked our second wedding reading as well.

Jess - your grandma looks great!
Chelsea - you got so much done!

We had a couple of WR things:
-We participated in our God's Plan for Marriage seminar on Saturday. It was actually really great. Although at the end of the seminar, everyone went around saying their date and wedding colors and FI told everyone our colors were ivory and Bud Light blue! It's cobalt!
-Attended a bridal show and got some ideas for invitations
-Gave my mom addresses for my shower

I also noticed someone purchased all our wine glass and the wine refrigerator!!

And I just ordered my registry exchange gift!! They will be getting it in 3-5 days!

Everything everyone PIP'ed looks great!!

This weekend I addressed all of the envelopes and printed the hotel info inserts.

Tonight I will be printing the directions insert and then stuffing envelopes!

Ash, yes. She's the only grandparent either of us have left. So besides the heart issues, she's in wonderful health. She's already doing some workout stuff at the hospital twice a week just to stay in better shape. FI calls her grandma too. I love it.

Yes! That was me. I liked her sample, but I already had my heart set on something else. It would have been very complicated to try to get the mock up she sent me to be printed at work and pick out the correct paper and the correct ink color. So I told her I really appreciated her help and I loved what she did but in order to use the print shop at work I really needed to use a graphic designer from work who could work directly with the print shop. She totally understood!

These aren't really checks, but I went home this weekend and was helping mom and Dale unpack and while I was doing the dining room, I found my great grandpa's hanky on it that has his monogram and I'm going to use that as my hanky at the wedding! We had found one last weekend antiquing that I was going to use, but this one is so much better!

I also found my mom's deb. dress while we were unpacking and we decided that we're going to get it cut off for me to wear as my getaway dress! It's so pretty. I should have taken pictures!!

ETA: Yay for Carter and that chain!!! I can't wait for it too be SHORT!

We booked our honeymoon! I tried booking it on Saturday but Expedia was having technical difficulties, so I waited til today. We are going to Puerto Rico for 7 days, 6 nights, and one night in Atlanta before we come home. I cannot wait! We have never been on a vacation together so this is going to be awesome

We also picked up FI's wedding band from the jeweler.

Oh yeah, and the biggest check from this weekend, my BM's finally ordered their dresses! Except for one, who is pregnant. She is going to wait until after the baby to get fitted, so it will be a couple more weeks.

Jess, your grandma looks beautiful! My grandma (only grandparent left) is 84 and she went swimming with us last night! She loved the lazy river--I was afraid that she would get knocked over because she's less than 5 feet tall! I have no idea what she'll wear...

FI has just one godmother, who lives in Venezuela. We heard that she got the doctor's ok to travel to our wedding, (so exciting!) so we're praying that her health doesn't decline between now and then.

I'm hanging out with my niece (MOH) today so I'm going to have her stop at a few stores to pick up a couple of random wedding related items I need.

My brother (groomsmen), cousin (usher) and sister's boyfriend (usher) all got fitted for their tuxes this weekend. I also emailed the pastor that used to teach at our church to see if he will be our officiant. I haven't heard back yet, but hopefully that will be our next check.

Midge, your grandma is precious. She looks great!

Chelsea, I love that you're wearing your mom's dress for the last dance. It is gorgeous!
