Old Mill in Rose Valley, PA / Conner Catering

hi all, i'm onto my second post here on the knot boards.  i asked for some venue suggestions a few weeks back and a decision has been made!

my fi and i have chosen the old mill in rose valley, pa.  we love the rustic old feel, the gorgeous outdoor scenery, and the modern touches.

has anyone had their wedding there or been a guest at the old mill?

and has anyone worked with conner catering?

just hoping for some insight before we dive right in!

    FSIL had her wedding there - I loved the rustic feel of the venue. The food was pretty good too! The setting is beautiful.

    I've been to 2 weddings at the Old Mill.  Good experiences both times - food was good and they went out of their way to accomodate guests with food allergies.  It's a beautiful place!

    My coworker just got married there in October. She loved it and didn't have any problems at all. She got great photos on the grounds, too, since they're so beautiful. Congrats!

    Hi, I have been trying to research and find a wedding venue myself and  have been trying to get more details on the Old Mill. Unfortunately I am having a hard time getting ahold of the owner.  Can anyone share how much the Old Mill costs per person? What are the other fees besdies catering, I gather that they do not do the alcohol?

    I am getting married there in May and asolutely can't wait because I love teh venue HOWEVER- the person in charge of Connor's Catering is almost IMPOSSIBLE to get ahold of. I literally had to call multiple times a week to get a confirmation he recieved our deposit.  And since then I have left many voicemails/emais to follow up on some details. If you are a nervous bride (like me!) the experience can be a little stressful. I am hoping he becomes more attentive as we get closer to the date.
