Is anyone doing a bridemaid's tea or luncheon?

I just booked mine for Ana Beall's Tea Room in Westfield - for the day before my wedding.

I sort of did -- I took them to dinner at my bachelorette party weekend and called it their bridesmaids' dinner. Most of them worked the day before my wedding, and were from far enough out of town that it wouldn't make sense for us to get together the weekend before just for the luncheon, so that seemed like the right time to do it.

I would like to, but to be honest they are all over the place. I am blessed to have very career oriented women as friends from different areas. I can barley get them together for my bachelorette weekend. So I will have some caterted food the day of the wedding while we are getting dressed.

I took them all to lunch when we went shopping for bridesmaid dress shoppiing - not sure if that counts

I hosted a mani/pedi party the afternoon before at a local spa, where we ordered pizza and brought wine. Casual, but fun

We did a spa day the day before the wedding... it was part of their gift.

I did a lunch for my bridesmaids the day before the wedding before we went to get mani/pedis. I am so glad I did it. I gave them their presents at the lunch as well. It was so nice just to have some girly time before the wedding. I also invited my SIL, mom and aunt to join us.

PS...If anyone is getting married in central jersey we had lunch at Zoes in Little Silver. They have a great $10 special. I have been having dreams of their yellow lentil hummus for 3 weeks now.
