Maui - Wedding Coordinators and more

Hello ladies,

I'm getting married in July and other than my dress, venue and photographer, I really am struggling to finish up with all of details and am thinking I need a wedding coordinator.

I have been in contact with Lori Lawrence, but it seems to take ages to get an email back from her. Are there any other coordinators in Maui who are not too expensive and reliable? Anyone else have any experience with Lori?

By the way, I'm getting married and having my reception at Gannon's and Kim Aihara is my wedding photographer.

Any suggestions on florists and make up/hair or anything else would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

    Welcome Styler!  I am also getting married in Maui in July - can you believe how fast it's coming up?!?!?  So exciting!!
    I am working with Cherise Shulman at The Perfect Wedding Maui.  She has been great, I have been working with her now for over a year and she has been super helpful and nice. 
    For florals we are going with Dellables.  Della is an artist with flowers, and is such a sweet soul.  But - I suggest you call her rather than try to communicate via email.  She is so busy and emails can fall a bit behind.  I can't wait to see our flowers, I know they are going to be FAB! 
    For my hair and makeup we went with Dan Sanchez and Jessica Waite.  They are very popular on the islands, but pricey.  Since this is my one and only wedding, I decided it was worth the splurge to look great on our big day!

    Kim was the second shooter on our wedding! She's great! I used Mandy Grace at Bella Grace Florals for our flowers and she was outstanding! I gave up on other florists because of their lack of communication, and she really stepped in (and had a baby while stepping up her game) and did a great job. Plus, her prices were awesome.

    You might try talking to Jackie Tanaka.  She works with Lori at Tropical Maui Weddings, and you can get her number by just asking asking whoever answers the main number there.  Whenever I emailed or called her she was really responsive when Lori was busy (or for a while when she was really ill).  Jackie's very knowledgeable and friendly, so I'm sure you'll like talking with her.  When it got closer to my wedding date, Lori was completely reliable and picked up where Jackie had left off.

    Lori really is awesome.  My wedding is coming up in June, and she is right on top of everything.  She's always emailing me and asking me questions and reminding me of the decisions that I need to make.  I do know that Lori has been ill the last few weeks, so I haven't been communicating with her too much recently.  Just shoot her another email.  She really is a sweet soul and a blessing to work with.

    I am also using Kim Aihara and Gannons!  My wedding coordinator is Cherise as well and she is amazing!  She gets back to you right away so you aren't waiting ages for an email.  I am using Dellables for my flowers and using Maui Makeup Artistry for my makeup.  Liz is great as well!  She is the manager at the MAC Cosmetics shop in Maui.

    MotoLyn - Sorry, I just saw it!!  I'll shoot you some information tomorrow, all my info is in my work email and it's archived so it's a pain to get to it from home.  Look for info tomorrow!
