Wedding Party

1 less bridesmaid...round 2

My wedding is September 4, 2010 and I just got word from one of my bridesmaids that there is a family function that just came up the same day as my wedding.  I told her family comes first because it does but now I'm out 1 bridesmaid...again.  I already had to replace someone back in January and now I have to again.  Is it too late to ask someone? Or can the sides be uneven?

Never ever shake your baby...or replace your bridesmaids.

  • FI's brother can't make it to the wedding.  He'll still be listed in the program as a groomsman, and instead of 6 and 5 we'll have 6 and 4.  We'll sort out walking order at the rehearsal.
This is a neglected planning bio.
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284

  • Is there something wrong with being uneven? Will anyone actually care/notice? It's the new millenium! anything goes... I just found out today that one of my BMs (a very dear friend of mine for about 20 years now) can't do it and I plan on keeping her name in the program.
