AW: Photo Friday!

Re: AW: Photo Friday!

  • AAAH!

Apparently the SOLD sign was FOR OUR OFFER!!!!!!!!!!!

The Selling REA had instructions that the minute an offer was put in to put the sold sign up. I'm not quite sure what the deal with that is, I think this house MIGHT be a short sale. I WILL FIND OUT SOON!

Waiting for further instructions from my real estate agent. SO FLIPPIN' EXCITED!

My husband also likes the house, after how many houses we've looked at together I got a really good feel for what he liked and didn't like, so it was pretty easy to figure out he'd be okay with me putting an offer on it (glad he confirmed that today though).

Oh guys, I'm so excited i'm bouncing around in my chair. I don't know how I'm going to focus for the rest of the day.

@FTL - I like your memes, especially the ogranic label one. Utterly ridiculous the hoops people have to jump through to let consumers know something is GOOD for them.

  • YAY ENTROPIC!!!
    Congratulations!!!!
    Omg, how exciting!
  • Yay entropic and thanks FTL for the video!
  • Hecks yes! Once you can do that, you have enough flexibility and strength in your back to do this (they kinda go hand-in-hand):
  • Yay! Entropic you might be a homeowner now!

<div>Geez louise! I have strong lordotic curve and flexible (not in a good way) lower back, and while I can do full bridge with proper technique, I struggle with camel pose to keep my pelvis from not tilting. I think I'll put this in the "maybe later" pile. :-)</div>

  • Let me see if I can Aw my wedding location. It's my hometown, and I am feeling a bit nostalgic.

My mom's baby tortoise. She bred it herself. We assume it's a he and his name is Filou. That's a matchbox next to it.

  • Meanpony - that location is so pretty! Your wedding is going to gorgeous!

  • Meanpony, where are you getting married? Prague?
  • Lovelyheather: I am already married. I should have clarified. This was taken at our wedding last June.

Unchatenfrance: No, this is Regensburg, in Bavaria, Germany. :)

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: AW: Photo Friday! : It was awesome! It was like apple pie but 1000 times better, and a lot lighter too. I ate 3 pieces that night. I've made it again since New Year's and will definitely be repeating it at least a few times more. The recipe says to sprinkle cinnamon on top after it's baked but I added it to the batter, and it was awesome. I also used corn starch (gluten-free) instead of regular flour and that made it even fluffier.

</div><div>I LOVE this recipe! I found it last winter, and have made it at least four or five times since. I love it warmed up with a little dab of thick cream on top.</div>

  • Sehr schon, meanpony!

Don't give me ideas, jenny! I had it at room temp and loved it that way, but I'll have to try it with cream for sure. Luckily for my waist I hate peeling apples.
  • Whaaat meanpony background story please?
I grew up in Bavaria. Wuerzburg to be exact :)
  • y'alls furbabies look a lot snugglier than mine...

FTL, I live on a smallish farm out in Graham (near Puyallup. since you're from Seattle I figure you've got an idea-ish where I'm at?) and we grow a lot of our own food. I've got a veggie patch bigger than my house on our property. I think it's awesome that people are getting fed up with crappy food full of chemicals.

entropic, congrats on the house. that's amazing!

Edit: It looks like you are no longer in Seattle FTL. Sorry!
  • omg meanpony. freaking adorable.  smushface is trying to climb on the computer, so I think she wants to be friends with your furbaby!

  • K- Thanks, I searched near and far for the perfect shoes! Nike- Mcbain is my baby. He came into my life at the perfect time, all my friends were having kids, and I wanted something to love, and be mine.
  • Heheheh, I'm not the only one in this house who needs MFP!  Gizmo being a hood ornament for the couch.

    Playing in a bag=exercise right? :)

Oh wow!  I am a migrant. My family migrated to the States when I was 13. Half of them have returned to Regensburg, and only me and my sister stayed behind. We both found cute Americans. Haha.
Are you German, too? Or was your family American military? That's usually the two most common options. :D
  • booo.. 1more I moved to Florida two months ago from north of Seattle (Mount Vernon/Burlington)
I went to UW and WWU for college :)
Lordy I miss my beautiful state, and yes I do no where Graham is :)
  • Xcaly, the Seattle weather in May is hit or miss, but either way you guys will have a blast and if the weather is nice, it's the most beautiful place on Earth. Anything fun and touristy planned!?
  • @meanpony- American Military. But my mom speaks fluent German so she had all German friends and I had a lot of German friends outside of school (school was on the military installation) I used to speak it very fluently and miss DE every. single. Day. I lived there for a little over 8 years in middle/high school. Nothing beats Christmas over there :)

@xcal- that'AWESOME !! I will be back in Washington all of May and June because two of my girlfriends are graduating (one from WSU, one from WWU so they are a month apart in their grad dates.. shucks that I have to stay so long ;)
Are you guys staying IN Seattle? Washington sucks in May, but whatever. I'm going to hike the crap out of it. Maybe I can harass you to beat up at one of the pubs/bars down town :)
  • Sounds like the best kind of honeymoon. Laid back and calorie heavy :)
