Here are the rest of my pics (because y'all care):
The 2nd day, we went through the "walking line", for people who don't want to ride (or can't ride) Forbidden Journey to see if it was any different (in this line, you skip Dumbledore's office entrance, and the two picture halls are different- I didn't get good pics of the "real" one)
Here's Rowena Ravenclaw and Salazar Slytherin
Godric Gryffindor's movin' pitcher
Dumbledore's office
Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom (blurry, sorry)
Harry, Ron, and Hermione (I couldn't get non-blurry shots of them because they moved when they talked)
The Fat Lady-- I couldn't get any good pics of the Gryffindor common room
OMG Yes! Tim took me there for my birthday in July. It was incredible. I drank so much butterbeer. That stuff is like liquid crack. I still have a bottle of pumpkin juice in my fridge that I don't want to open because it's my last one.

Hey Georgia, I heard that the glare off the fake snow on the buildings can be blinding. Did you find that to be true? I'm supposed to go with my mom at some point.
I would only think it'd blind you if you stared straight at it w/o sunglasses. I didn't notice it being an issue, but I did have sunglasses on. But I took a crapload of upshots and don't recall being blinded.

I just Googled it. The recipe is widely available, but there are no makers to be found :(
Was it really packed when you were there? When we were there, there was a 90 minute wait just to get into Honeydukes. We're thinking of going back late February/early March.
I'm in love with this place. My friend is coming over next weekend to watch football with me and since Mr Stack won't be there to make fun of me - I'm totally making alcoholic butterbeer to share with my friend. She's a HP fan too!
Jen, it was really crowded, but the only store that was really uncomfortable to go in due to the crowd was Dervish and Banges. Honeyduke's and Zonko's weren't so packed that you couldn't go in and look around. There was a line for Ollivander's wand experience, but otherwise everything else could be done in 15 mins (Forbidden Journey, the Three Broomsticks) or less (Flight of the Hippogriff, Dragon Challenge).
I actually get so excited looking at these pictures that my stomach hurts. I'm going to be like that kid that pukes all over Santa at the mall because of nerves.
Georgia- question: did you happen to notice any Hogwarts hoodie sweatshirts for sale? I have decided that is what I want. That and everything else.

I have no idea, I've never made it. But when I google searched the majority of them were cold recipes.
Manda, I don't recall seeing hoodies. I saw a ton of t-shirts. Maybe Arbs can check next week(?) when she visits. I do know you can buy a set of Ravenclaw robes for the low price of $99.99!!

Okay, thanks! I would go, glare or no glare, but it's nice to know it's not a problem.
And they're heavy robes, not that light Halloween crap. You could be a full-on Hogwart's re-enacter with these things. Throw on a scarf and some knee socks and you'd be good to go!
I want to go back!! I went opening week and holy crap was it PACKED!! I barely put enough money together to go so I didn't get to try things I wanted to. I did have Butterbeer and I want it so bad right now!! I wanted to try the Pumpkin Juice but I guess I'll have to next trip. I was also sad the the every flavored beans were $10 for a handful.
