Help me Choose a Florist

So I have met with 5 florists for our wedding in November.  I have narrowed it down to 3.  I would appreciate any thoughts or feedback on these 3.  I was trying to stay around $1500 for the flowers and they all came in anywhere from 1800 - 2400.  I am doing only red roses and we are reusing the ceremony arrangements on the buffet, the pomanders balls that will hang from the chairs and bridemaids bouquets as the centerpieces.  There will be no additional reception flowers other than red rose petals on each table and votives my venue or we provide if I need more than the venue has.

Birch Blooms - Angie, On Occassions - Carla, and Unique Floral - Julie.

Before you make a decision - have you checked with Darryl Wiseman Flowers?  www.darrylwisemanflowers.com. Richard is amazing.

Give him your budget and just see what he can do for you.

I guess it depends on the size of your wedding. But you may want  to check out Bridesandblooms.net. Debra is doing flowers for my wedding and my budget is lower than yours. She is really nice and will work with you no matter what your budget is.

I'm doing hot pink roses and carnations, and I'm doing the exact same thing as you for the reception flowers.  I think you and I met with her around the same time.  My quote from Angie was lower than yours, probably largely because of me using a lot of carnations, and maybe number of flowers, but I don't know.

Anyway, I am going to go with O'Brien Studio Workshop because his quote was lower than hers and he seemed extremely knowledgeable.  His name is Michael, and he has many years of experience.  He works out of his home, too, although I think he used to have his own shop.  My fiance knew him from a church he used to run sound for.

I can add his email after I check with him and make sure he doesn't mind. :)

Will they let you see the work that they are doing for another bride?  I narrowed my choices down to 2 florists...one had tons and tons of pics of weddings he did and the other had no pictures.  The fast that the 2nd had zero pictures of her work really worried me!  I wold definitely look at there work at an actual wedding if you can before you decide (even if its just in pictures).   You want to make sure you like their style and that all the flowers look fresh.  I have been to a wedding or two and you can tell the flowers looked not as fresh as they should have been!
