Reception at Hubbard Park Lodge

Has anyone held their reception at Hubbard Park Lodge or attended a reception there? We toured it and liked it, just looking for some reviews from anyone with personal experience.

    That's where I'm having my reception. One of my sorority sister held their reception there and they didn't have any problems. It's run by the same people that run Lakefront Brewery's Palm Gardens and there is a lot of positive feedback from that establishment too. Mostly the price is appealing and it has a nice cozy feeling.

    my co-worker and friend is having her wedding there. so far she loves it and has not had any problems.

    My sister held her reception there in summer 2007.  The food & chef were great, but the coordinator was not the best.  I'm sure that has changed by now.  Keep in mind the lodge is not air conditioned if your event is in the summer.

    Thanks everyone! Oh and they just go air conditioning installed in November, so no more worries!
