Catholic Church in Green Bay?

Hey ladies - does anyone have a Catholic Church in East Green Bay that they can suggest?  My Fiance is not from here and we are looking to join a church that we both enjoy.  Lately we have become "Chr-easter" Catholics (Christmas and Easter) cause he doesn't like my church and I don't want to go by myself. Also, my priest is going to another congregation soon.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks for your help!

I'm not Catholic, but I know people who like St. Francis Xavier Cathedral (unless, of course, that's the one you're coming from :p)

Do you have family there still?

My Fi and I live in Columbus, OH and are getting married at the church off of X in DePere (can't remember the exact name - I am TERRIBLE) I think it is or affiliated with Diocese of Green Bay.  His mother is in good standing so we have to do the engagement classes locally and they will send the papers to them and can do the wedding.

I grew up going to Nativity, but what about St. Matthews?

Thanks for the suggestions ladies! I will have to check them out.  I am currently going to St. John's downtown, but would like to try some other churces since my finace doesn't really like that one.  My dad is a member at st. Johns, but I'm not from Green Bay originally (neither is Fiance) so I have only been going there a few years.

<div>That's St. Mary's on Sportsman Dr.  It is a gorgeous church!  I would suggest that.  The cathedral in downtown GB may not allow you to be married there, unless you are a member of their church.  Otherwise DH and I got married at St. Phillip the Apostle church (ETA: on Victoria Dr., off of Main St. near Kroll's).  We are not members there (we live near Madison but are originally from GB) and it's a small but very cute church.  GL!</div>

Thanks Jnibean - I will look into those.  We are not getting married until the end of 2011 and are looking for a church to become members of.  I was confirmed at St. Johns but haven't gotten around to becoming a member yet. I'm hoping to find a church that we both like and can both join.

<div>Your welcome!  My sister was confirmed at St. Mary's, and my cousin is getting married there in July of this year.  It is gorgeous on the inside, plus it has padded pews and air conditioning, which is a major plus :)  I grew up going to St. Phillip, which is why I chose to get married there.  It is a bit smaller, and I have no idea who the priest is there (it's been 3 years since we were married there), but I really liked going there when I was young.</div>
