Who cooks

Re: Who cooks

  • SO is a good cook when it comes to "farm boy food" as he calls it, though everything he makes takes him about 4 hours (because he's slow Smile) and I'm usually too impatient for that business hence I cook almost exclusively.

  • I cook the most but he makes stuff too.  He is good with meat and bread, both on the stove and the grill; I am good at pastas and everything else.  I really love to cook and I like cooking for him, but sometimes I am tired and then he cooks.  Or we cook together, which is fun.  It will be interesting to see when we are married and living together who will be the predominate cook, we are both going to be crazy busy so hopefully we can both cook to take the load off.

  • He does the majority of the cooking. I can cook fine but he's worked in food sevice before so he's better at it. He also works from home a lot while I'm away from home almost 12 hours a day for work. I do the majority of the cleaning and baking. We just split up stuff based on who is better at what.

  • FI makes the best omlets for breakfast (im slowly learning his trick)

Dinner last night was AMAZING and he said he will for sure make it again (its my lunch today too). He did say that if its something that he really wants then he will cook it but if its something he really doesn't want he has no interest and hurries through it.
