Southwest VA - stocking the bar?

I'm having a beer and wine reception in Wytheville VA and will be stocking my own bar.  Where is the best place to get a good deal on beer and wine?  Is it possible to get a discount somewhere for buying in bulk?

    Places like Total Wine have a large selection wine if you were purchasing in large quantities. I doubt you will have a problem finding deals on cases. Sams Club also has a pretty good selection that is not over priced. I would go with kegs for beer if you wanted to have more bang for your buck. You do have to "pay" a keg and tap rental fee upfront.
    You may also want to consider going to NC if you think VA prices are too high. Different states have different rules and taxes associated with alcohol so it's worth shopping over state lines. TN may also have some great values.
    Usually if you purchase a large number of cases of wine, some stores will work out a discount maybe 10-15%.
