Any other Knotties getting married on the Tikki Beach Charter or know anyone that has????

    My friend had looked at it last year. It seemed really nice but she thought it was a little dated looking. But maybe they made upgrades since then? I don't know. However, I remember she LOVED the price and the menu.

    that was my original plan but then I changed my mind, one of my friends told me it looked a bit out-dated!

    I check it out n loves the concept but it looked out-dated. this was last sept.  Fi did have a valid point what if people get sea sick? and what if it rained no cover on top. So we chose not to, but give a look it could have changed.

    We thought about it too - It did look a bit out-dated - and my FI said it smelled like stale beer! It seemed like such a great Idea though.  If we had the money to do a big engagement party it would have been fun I think.

    I went to a wedding reception there in September of '09 and we had a fabulous time!
    It didn't seem out-dated to me, obviously is not fancy since it has the beach tikki feel to it. If that's what you are looking for it would be nice. We really didn't feel the boat moving much because it's big. It all depends on the demographics attending your wedding. HTH!
