We had like 6" last year that effectively shut down the state. Our issue comes from the snow melting during the day and then refreezing at night so we wind up with like 2" of ice under all of the snow. Ice= really bad in Oklahoma = suckfest because we don't get it often so when we do, people don't know how to drive in it.

that's the problem here too. most times it snows and sticks, it gets warm enough during the day to melt it all and turn it into ice.

Its about 30 min south of my old place and generally warmer...but that low front came in from New Mexico yeserday. This morning there was maybe an inch....that doesn't count, not if i can see the grass!

We are the opposite in our house. My FI is from PA so snow is nothing to him. But he hears thunder and he thinks we are going to get a tornado. He can't believe that storm warnings don't bother me at all. But snow, i could live without that's for sure.

We always have the dumb drivers during the first snowfall of the year who forgot to drive slower on snow/ice even though it's only been like 7 months.
