This was in our news last night. There was an accident before the wedding, an illegal immigrant with no driver's license hit the wedding party and killed one of the groomsmen. So sad.

That's awful. Something similar happened on Long Island a few years ago. After the wedding, a car driving the wrong way on a parkway (I believe he was drunk), hit a limo and killed the little flower girl.

Last September, I believe, the groom was killed in a car accident the morning of the wedding while he was on the way to breakfast with the groomsmen. He was the only one not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the car when they were hit by a pick-up who ran a red light.

I saw that, Dani. I can't believe they went ahead with the wedding in the hospital. I was totally shocked by that.

I was a little surprised too! On the news last night, I missed whether the accident was before or after the wedding, so I didn't know if they had ended up getting married or not. The whole thing was so sad. You could see how much everyone was crying in all of those pictures.

I like that the Indianapolis one went on with the wedding. Shows that its not about a fancy church or perfect looking bridesmaids, its about getting married.

It's completely tragic.

A couple of years ago a groom was shot and killed in a Providence club the night before his wedding. I guess the boys all went to blow off some steam after the rehearsal dinner and he was targeted at random. Two little kids left behind. Awful.

Not to add to the awfulness, but there was a story awhile ago about a bride who suffered a brain aneurism at her rehearsal dinner and died instantly. All of these make me stop and think and shut my mouth about my stupid complaints.

Adding to the depressing thread, my dad performed roadside CPR on the mother of the groom (I think, may have been bride) a few years back. She and the father were driving home from the wedding very early in the morning and ran off the road. Neither of them lived. Very sad.

I just saw that proposal tragedy on the news. How sad. I also heard about the IN accident. It makes the wedding and the tiffs with my fiance small stuff. We all need to be thankful and grateful that our fiances and us are here enjoying wedding planning. Good vibes to everyone!!!!
