Bridesmaid shoe advice/AKA vent

Ok, so I'm in my brother's wedding this summer and I just picked up the shoes his FI wants us to wear. They're super cute Nina shoes. Love the style! But I don't think she tried them on before selecting them. They hurt like hell!!!

Please, for those of you who are selecting shoes for your bridesmaids, keep in mind we need to wear these pretty things for hours. They need to be remotely comfortable as well.

Ugh. This is exactly why this board says that BMs should choose their own shoes.

Who wants all their wedding pics to show their BMs wincing in pain?

Take flip flops and change as soon as pictures are over. Sorry you have to wear mandated shoes - I think that's a little silly.

That sucks. She should have asked everyone if they felt comfortable. Like pp said, bring a different pair of shoes for right after the ceremony.

Yikes! I'm so sorry about your feet!

I'm sure this is a "duh" thing, but I'll throw it out anyways. Wear them everyday when you are at home. Just 10-30 min a day should help your feet get used to them so that you can at least make it through the ceremony.
