Poll: What is/was your reception entrance song?

What song will be (was) playing when you enter your reception and are announced to your party??

I've been pondering ideas lately.... I don't want "I've Got a Feeling" by Black Eyed Peas because "I've Got a Feeling" that a LOT of newlyweds will be using this! And no Chris Brown "Forever" for obvious reasons....

Maybe a Kid Rock-style entrance starting with Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" until it hits "born & raised in South Detroit" and then merging to Kid's "Bawitdaba?"

I want something cool and unique, although FI has nixed the Muppet Show theme song. Bummer.

My sister used "I Gotta Feeling" in August before it became crazy popular!

I want to use "Let's Get Married" by Jagged Edge.  But FI and I still need to decide.

For Brian & Me - "This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)" by Natalie Cole

Edit: I had our DJ rip this version to an MP3...I love the energy!!

Our entrance is going to be....special....lol. Its going to sound reeeally strange but I'll share anyway. The wedding party will come in to the Baseball Tonight theme (yes from ESPN) and they will be announced as a starting lineup then right after FI & I are annouced it will switch to the Rocky Theme - Gonna Fly Now (not Eye of the Tiger).

Its different, but we have our reasons. And I highly doubt anyone else will do their entrance like this so at least we'll be unique!

We are using "Welcome to the Jungle" by GNR for our entrance song. We are still working on the song for the bridal party. Options so far are:

    Let's Go Crazy - Prince
I Believe in a Thing Called Love - The Darkness
Come on Feel the Noise - Quiet Riot
For Those About to Rock - AC/DC

Yes, we are going for an 80's rock theme. The cake cutting song will be Pour Some Sugar on Me - Def Lepard.

Parents, BP, and us will probably all be entering to "Golden Years" by David Bowie.

    We love that song.

Good post...I'm having such a hard time figuring this one out for the wedding.  I had wanted "I Gotta Feeling" by Black Eyed Peas because my FI is Jewish, (fill up my cup. Mazel Tov!!) but it seems like everyone is using it. And Journey's Don't Stop Believing is too close to our First Dance. (Journey-Faithfully). Call me a bad Detroit Girl but I can't stand Kid Rock's music....Maybe Van Halen, "Love Walks In" Keep it coming with the good idea!!

Just don't pick the "emperial march"... so many nerds think that is so funny.  It is not.  It is lame ;)

I think you need something really high energy because that is going to set the tone for the rest of the night - but something personal (not dated) enought to enjoy again if you have it on your wedding video.

    Good luck.

We're going with the "I've Got a Feeling" by BEP.  Yea, super popular but we think itll set a good tone for the wedding and get people dancing.  FI and I are then coming into Let's Get It Started by BEP to really set a energetic mood.

We are using the chorus from "Never gonna' be alone" by Nickleback.  I was wanting to do the Black Eyed Peas for the bridal party entrance-but the FI squashed that.  He is a HUGE Journey fan, but like Emily1004, our wedding song is "Faithfully" by Journey.  I know that we are probably going to end up with some AC/DC, GNR, etc type entrance for the bridal party.  Thats more his style.  Always looking for some fun upbeat ideas for BP entrance!

I was in a wedding last year and were introduced to Beyonce's "Crazy in Love"  The crowd seemed to enjoy it.  I have no idea what I will use though.
