Im Thrilled!!!

So I had to work Saturday morning..yea it SUCKED another reason I want a new job!

But FI went on to the beach to see his family a day early.  He left Friday night so I got so much done around the house it was awesome. A major plus!!

Well I arrived sometime around 5pm Saturday giving FI enough time to talk to his parents about wedding stuff...and the result.....

they agreed to pay for the:
band
photographer
videographer
rehersal dinner!!!

OMG I <3 my future in-laws...despite if they rub my nerves wrong sometimes!!!

PS does anyone else have this problem...I can't clean while FI is around the house and he can't clean while I'm there..one of us has to be gone if they other is going to clean!  Its annoying I just can't seem to get anyting done if he is home!

    that's great about your FILs.  Cleaning wise, it typically works out that I clean the upstairs (vacuuming, bathrooms, laundry, etc.) while FI does the downstairs (kitchen, sweeping, picking up, etc.) so basically we are out of each other's way the same as you!

    Congrats on getting the extra help with paying for stuff!  I wish someone had offered to help us out!!!!

    Congratulations that's wonderful! It's always so great when people offer to help out.

    Cleaning-wise, FI gets super cranky when he cleans, he has to do it all at once and gets really pissed about the fact that things are dirty. This is just when he's cleaning however, he's fine with it being dirty (if it ever is, I'm a bit of neat freak) all the rest of the time. So I have to leave the house. And I do like to clean when FI is gone simply because that means I can blast my girl music and he can't complain about his delicate hearing/terrible songs. :)

    Woohoo for help!

    I typically get cleaning done while DH is at work. It's definitely easier to get things done when I'm the only one home. If he's here, he'll call me over to look at what's on TV or something then we end up chatting forever.

    I second Beth that FI cleans downstairs and I clean the upstairs.  Now why I even clean his house since I don't live there yet is something I'll never understand but we treat ourselves to ice cream afterwards!

    Congrats on the extra support from the FILs.  My mom just found where she told their financial planner several years ago a larger wedding budget amount than she has currently regulated me to so I now may get a few extra bucks to spend.  It's a great feeling not so limited money-wise.
