Good Saturday Morning!

Morning!

I was up last night until almost 3am with belly troubles and got woken up at 7:30am for a repeat.  hopefully it's not a sign of what the rest of the day brings.

Busy day today!  We're heading out to the farmer's market in a little bit.  To Best Buy to get a working stereo installed in my H's car, the post office to send som e certified mail to my school because they keep losing important papers from me, Mongolian BBQ for lunch, to market for food, and then on to a round of golf that hopefully doesn't kill me with the heat.

    Hope you feel better Anna! You do more in one day than I do in a week. :)

    Today, I'm going to spend my birthday money my husband gave me. Outlet mall here I come. Then I need some more mulch for the back yard, and a few more shepards hooks.

    My mom and my H's mom both are without electric, my mom is on a well, so mo water as well. We'll see how long it takes to get that back up. Just glad another tree didnt fall again. I guess the winds got up to 90 mph. Bad stuff.

    Morning. I hope youre feeling better, Anna. I am up getting ready for a birthday party for my flower girl. She is two! They're having her party at a state park with a petting zoo so it should be interesting. I went to SAMs last night to shop for the first time and I came out with 120.00 worth of food. Their meat was more expensive so I had two other stores to stop at. I finally made it home around 8.

    Morning! We had breakfast with a friend and now we're at the bar watching the Tour de France. The place isn't actually open but our friend owns it so he let us come in to watch. This is the highlight of FH's year. There is a farmers market by the bar and I finally found garlic scapes! I'm excited to try them. We went out for my birthday last night and had an amazing dry aged steak. Our friend is one of the cooks where we went and he sent out goat cheese stuffed squash blossoms. So yummy.

    Come visit me ladies, I have an outlet mall a mile up the road, it's the only reason people come here. Besides me of course!

    Morning. I hope all the east coast people are ok. They got terrible storms last night. H and I keep getting pictures from home and it's so sad. I don't even want to go back. And we aren't supposed to have power until Wednesday night.

    We have a pretty big outlet mall between COS and Denver, but some of the stores aren't really outlet-y.  More like regular mall stores.  Some of them are pretty good, though.

    Sorry Mara, H's mom is in Van Wert so it came right through there and hit my Mom's. It even closed the Dayton mall.

    The storm hit right after we got home last night. It sounded crazy, reminded me of a good Florida storm. We were fine at our house but there are power outages all over the city. I feel terrible for the people who be sweltering all day. FBIL and his family were in Virginia driving through the storm and he said it was really scary.

    Morning ladies! Nothing much today except some cleaning and exercise. Not looking forward to going back to work Monday. My supervisor already texted me that I have a meeting on Monday because one of my kiddies got into a lot of trouble over this break, so her mom wants her out of the house. 

    Brandi- we get most of our meat from Costco. It seems expensive, but you are buying in bulk so I usually break it up and freeze it.

    Morning! I actually slept in today! Until 7am. ha

    I have to work for a few hours today, so eventually I'll get off my ass and head to campus.  Then errands and a housewarming party. But I don't want to stay too long, since I like my a/c way too much. ;)

    Is she ok? That part of Ohio got the worst of it I think.

    I feel like a tool for complaining considering all the other crazy stuff that's happening around the country.

    Yeah everyone is ok, my mom just doesnt have water and of course the air is off.

    I know I was watching the fires again, they found another body. So, yeah it could be worse.

    We get a lot of our meat at Costo, too, Denise.  We either smoke/grill an entire package, or I break it up into smaller ziplock bags to freeze.  The quality is very good - we haven't been disappointed yet by anything we've bought there.  and their chicken salad (in the deli case) is the best.

    Anna, you have a busy day! Feel better!

    We are down on the Cape. We are having a cookout for some friends tonight, so we have to get everything set up and go shopping. We have to get dump/beach stickers for our cars too, and I want to get Kieran in his little blow up pool for some pool time. I wish I could fit in it - it is going to be a hot one here. I can't wait until he is big enough to get a big pool that we can all use. Growing up, my grandfather would put up a pool for us every summer. I can't wait to do the same for him.

    Morning.

    We only got wind from last night's line of storms through here.  Our power flickered, but didn't go out.  Others in our area weren't as lucky.  There are some downed trees, etc. around and people still without power.  What a time for it, too.  I have a feeling the malls and movie theaters are going to be really crowded today.

    That is what we do. H works at Costco, so it is kinda awesome that everytime I need stuff I just call him.

    DH always texts me when he's at Costco to see if I need anything.  I always reply 'tampons', because I know he would never, ever, ever purchase a feminine hygiene product.  Ever.  Haha

    I definitely need to compare the other meats but the 5lb package of ground beef was about 4 dollars higher than the 5lb package at my local store. It was the same percentage too.

    Morning! I see we're comparing meat ;)

    I'm just in bed, still.  We didn't get hit with any storms last night, but I hope everyone is okay.  I see a lot of downed power line statuses on FB this morning.

    We went to fireworks last night and it was great! I'm a little bummed this morning, though, that  friend of mine is coming in this week and I won't be here to see her.

    I get the chicken breasts there too because they come 2 in a package and you can take one package out of the freezer at a time.

    Lately we have been getting most of our stuff from there because it is cheaper and makes more sense, even though there are only 2 of us (plus 3 dogs).

    Morning. I'm trying to drag myself out of bed with the headache from hell. Mehg and I met for dinner last night then she and her H hung out at our place until like 1:30 in the morning. I'm rarely up that late anymore. But let me tell ya, they are freaking awesome. Today is lots and lots of cleaning. Joy.
