Heather- glad to hear I'm not alone!! The girls on the Attire board were posting things like, "And I thought these posts were jokes...." I didn't think I was that far out in left field!

We're going with Mossy Oak too... it's softer and I can live with it, plus the fabric we found matches the light green in my girls' dresses. The guys will have ties the same color as the dresses so it's pretty subtle.

Unfortunately I don't have any cute animal pics to put in my sig. I'm trying to talk FI into a cat, but I don't think I'm making much progress.

Let's see, something interesting about me.... I think I'm pretty boring. I guess the most exciting thing is that my last job (I'm in grad school now) involved blowing up missiles.

I'm a newbie/lurker.....you guys are pretty hilarious. I tend to get tired of people asking the same flippin questions over and over and expect to get different responses. My FI and I have been friends since we were 16 (we're 28 now) and I had no dsire or intention of dating him...not because there was anything wrong with him, but he was always just a buddy to me. We started hanging out almost 2 years ago just the 2 of us and within the first couple weeks I knew I wanted to marry him. We're both pretty sarcastic, cynical and nerds in the same ways....it is awesome.

Something memorable is that I am from Canada and can't take a picture of my cat apparently. I have also been lurking for a long time under a previous SN. Like 2+ years of inconsistent lurking. Sad.

I've been on the knot since becoming engaged last July. It took me a while to find the boards and figure out how to semi-use them. I too am mostly a lurker, who chimes in every now and again. The etiquette board is my all time favorite, it's the first one I look at when I come home, you girls are great!

Nothing extremely special to remember me by, other then the second love of my life... my dog, Shelby... Hopefully my sig isn't huge, I'm still trying to figure out who to do everything!

I have a funny yellow lab named Dakota, my husband and I are huge Penn State fans and tailgate in Happy Valley for every home game, and I work for a big ketchup company if you can guess what one. (My 95 year old great grandpa thinks that means I work in "canning", but I actually don't hah)

I'm another newbie.

I'm getting married in 33 days on 3/21 which I love because it's 3-2-1 and exactly 1 year from when we got engaged.

Memorable: my FI and I had met several times over 2 1/2 years, I had not seen him in a 1 1/2 and his line (at hismanager job at a rock climbing gym) was "so did you come here to climb or just to get my phone number"

I figured anyone that remembered me and was that bold about it was worth a shot!

And I can't seem to figure out the siggy line....

Seems like I'm always late to the party! lol I lurk quite a bit because everyone here just cracks me up! My b/f doesn't understand why I would enjoy reading the Etiquette board but eventually I'll get him to check it out so he can understand. lol I'm really impressed how this thread got alot of us out and talking! Anyways something memborable... hmmm... I have a rather large panda collection. If it has to do with pandas I generally have it from calendars to snow globes and even a wicker type mat. lol I also have a panda tattoo!

haha "memorable" that is. I guess that happens when you're trying to post things at 5 in the morning... sheesh

This board is by far the most entertaining and gives the best advice - it has helped me put a lot of things in perspective regarding my wedding planning. Hi, I'm East. I'm new. I omg luuuuurve you ladies so much. I think everyone is so funny and awesome and I bet we're all going to be best friends 4 ever. (Except for you, Laladypoet. You can suck a fat one)

My FI and I met as God intends one to meet the love of your life, completely hammered in a dive bar. We slow danced to Free Bird and it was L_O_V_E from that moment on. He later propsed at our counties Pumpkin Festival. He carved "Marry Me East!" into a pumpkin, isn't that just the sweetest thing ever?
