Resort Chosen!! YAY! Check!!

FI and I talked over the weekend about where we will stay at Disney for our Wedding/Honeymoon and we've chosen the Animal Kingdom Lodge! YAY!!! I was looking at the Polynesian but it wasnt worth the difference in cost in my opinion. I've stayed at the AKL before and I really love it. FI has never stayed there but has always wanted to. We will get a Savana room with a view of the animals. Depending on the discount we get we may get a suite upstairs with complementary breakfasts since the difference is only about 25 per night the discount may make it the normal savana room cost.

    Yay, that's so exciting!!! I've always wanted to stay at AKL!


    I'm headed down to Disney in February for the Princess Half, we're getting a villa at Old Key West thanks to one of the girl's military status and an epic discount!  5 of us in a room for 9, is soooo much better than 4 of us trying to share double beds and 1 bathroom!

    I was considering running this race but I opted not to when we decided to do a disney wedding. I will run several the year after our marriage though since we will have annual passes.

    AKL is very much worth the money it is absolutely beautiful. This says a lot because typically I'm like whatever I just sleep in a hotel who cares. AKL however was amazing, this is why if the discount is good like we expect we will take a suite to get free breakfast that we can eat on our patio and watch animals. It will also allow some of our guests to stay with us :).

    The Girls and I LOVE AKL! We stay there every Spring for the Flower & Garden Festival! Love it love it love it!

    the GrandF is our summer retreat!

    You're going to have so much fun! Make sure you go to the Poly's dinner show!

    Boma is super tasty. I really love the whole animals outside your room aspect its worth the extra dollars. The animals have a nice calming effect.
