After 3 years, 3 months, & 3 days...

I am beginning to actually struggle with my celibacy.  FI & I celebrated 6 years of being together yesterday and all of a sudden the inner heat within me began to rise, lol.  With 22 days to go it is becoming difficult to abstain from sex.  My heart wants to obey God b/c I know it will be greater later, BUT MY FLESH IS WEAK, yall.  FI been reaalllly looking good to me lately and I'm sooooo ready to climb that tree, lol.  I just need yall to pray for me.  I've come all this way and I don't wanna break being so close to the finish line.  I know me, though.  I love God too much to give up, but thanks for letting me get this off my chest.  BTW FI isn't trying to get the cookie, it's ME wanting to give it to him, lol. 

Does anyone else feel like this???

    Everything Morgan said! What a great accomplishment you have achieved with 3 years, 3 months, and 3 days. That is very admirable. You can make it all the way honey! And yes being obedient to God will have a much better result than giving in to the flesh.

    GUUUURL !!!! I feel you...  As the wedding gets closer,  Im throbbing with anxiety.  FI is doing much better.  Im not sure how long its been but Aug will be 3yrs we've been together (and aug is the wedding).  we have "oopsed"  3x.... all within the first year

    Definitely in the same boat! Our honeymoon will be my first and I can't believe I've been cruising along all this time only to be hung up now! You can do it girlie! Praying for you!!

    Well, I don't feel so alone anymore in our decision of a celibacy vow. Some people we know kinda make us feel odd or different because of it. I try not to let it phase me though because I know we're not to be concerned with the people of this world. Stay strong, sis. You're so close to your goal of joining together with your love in holy matrimony with a pure heart and satan can't handle it. Keep praying for strength & patience, don't give in to satan's destructive attempts. You can do it!

    Soror I wish I had the strength, but i'm praying for yours! After 3 years, 3 months and 3 days 22 days is a cake walk. Just think of how wonderful it will be after the wedding and how proud God would be of both of you. That will keep you hanging on.
