Are you wearing a veil? What does/will it look like?

My $25 cathedral veil arrived...so of course, I had to play with it! I don't have my dress yet so I wore it with my rehearsal dinner dress. Are you wearing a veil? If so, what will it look like? If not, what are you going to have instead of the veil? post pics!

Yep! I originally wanted a cathedral length veil, but the bottom/back of my dress has so much detail, I didn't want to hide it! This is mine, although I'm not going to buy from David's if I can help it. One of my BMs is attempting to recreate it - doesn't seem too hard, plus if she hits a snag, her mom is super crafty.

If all else fails, there's always those cheap veil sites with identical styles, and I can glue on some sparkle if needed.

I have a short pill-box hat veil. There is enough lace to cover my eyes. However, I ordered it through a company haven't even tried it on with my dress, so I'm having second thoughts. I'm sure I'll try it on with the dress and it will rock but still........

Mine is a fingertip length veil. I originally went with a cathedral length (as you can see in my dress siggy), but kept waffling on it. When I went back to the salon for BM dresses, I tried on my dress again, with each veil. Fingertip length won. I will be wearing a blusher for the ceremony.

im not wearing a veil. i will have a hair flower or tiara tho, just havent decided yet. i was thinking of doing both but take the flower off for the reception but im not sure how it will look...

I bought a little tiny birdcage veil with little swarovski crystals. I think I'm going to get some kind of crystal-y hair clip to go with it too.

I originally wanted a cathedral veil but my dress has a lot of detail and blowing in the wind might get crazy while pulling up on the boat. So, I went with the fingertip one I have on in my dress pic below.

It matches the dress perfectly!

Yes, mine is just a plain fingertip length veil with a blusher. I will take it off for the reception. Its my something borrowed, my sister used it for her wedding in 2008. This is a picture of my sister with the veil on:

Yes I am wearing 2, cathedral and mid-length. I wasn't sure about the cathedral but once I saw it with the dress it completed the look. I will probably keep the mid length on for the reception but the cathedral will come off after pictures.

I love my veil! It's the one in my siggy pics. Because my dress is a little more drama, I love that the veil is a bit simpler to no compete. The length hits just right and outlined in beading that matches the beading of my sash. The dress originally came with a flower pin that I'm turning into a hairpin for the reception.

I bought my veil from Joann fabrics for $15. It has rhinestones on it already but I've added more to it to. I don't have a picture right now but I will try to take one this weekend. I also added a strip of rhinestones to the clip. I'm only going to wear it for the ceremony, pictures and maybe first dance so I didn't want to spend alot on it. I think I'm going to add a flower to my hair when I take it off.

I have a flower that a I'm wearing. I originally wanted to wear a bird cage veil as well, but I'm not sure if I like the way I look in it. I also just chopped my hair off. I need to play a little and figure it out.

No veil for me either. Some girls look gorgeous with veils, but I'm just not one of them. So since my dress has one strap I'm doing my hair down the other side and I haven't decided between some bling or some flowers...probably some bling so it won't fly out of my hair when I'm dancing haha
