Hi ladies. How are you? What's new? What's on the agenda for the weekend?

I am good today. My 2nd round of blood work came back ok (ie no scary diseases that they were testing me for) so I just have to have my liver enzymes checked again in 6 months. Also, my dermatologist called last night to tell me they got out all of the abnormal cells so no further treatment is necessary & I just go back next Friday to get my stitches out! Yay for good news!

I don't have much going on this weekend. Nothing tonight or tomorrow that I know of. On Sunday, FI & I are going white water rafting with my mom, aunt, uncle, & cousins. I'm nervous but really excited!

    Hi rdr! That all sounds like good news--what a relief!

    I've got some cleaning to do this weekend. Plus we gotta run by my parentals and pick up the wedding stuff they brought home (vases, !gifts!, candy, picture frames, etc.)

    My mom just told me she is filing for divorce again. Le sigh. I'm not surprised, but it still stings to hear the words. :(

    Have you been water rafting before? I haven't but that sounds like a fun group to go with, no?

    Hiya,
    Glad everything has gone well at the doctor rdr!!!! White water rafting sounds like fun have you ever been before?  I haven't.


    I had the dentist last night and they didn't find anything wrong I'm so excited.  However my doctor now wants me to see a GI to do some further testing.  My stomach ultrasound  found a hemangionma or something on my liver that they may want to do an MRI on to confirm that is what it is.  I'm hoping the GI can figure all of this out and soon.

    Tonight BF & I are just relaxing.  Tomorrow night we have to head down the shore for my sister's rehearsal dinner, which is not at her venue but don't get me started on that.  Sunday we are going to great adventure.  I am so glad this week is almost over and the weekend is almost here.

    had a pretty crappy week (family stuff), so I'm glad it's the weekend.  H and I are going to a wedding tonight, so I'm looking forward to CAKE.

    I'm glad you're tests are coming back with good results, rdr!  I've been thinking about you this week!

    Morning!

    White water rafting...that's so cool! I've been on a couple of rides at theme parks, but I bet the real thing is so much better. I'm happy for you that everything at the drs turned out ok.

    Danser I hope your dr appointments go well. It sucks when they don't really know what's going on. Though yay for no fillings at the dentist!

    I'm driving down to NJ tonight to pick up bf, he's coming back at last! So happy, this summer has taken forever. Tomorrow I think my parents are having a bbq with some business people and their families. So we'll go by and get food, I'll coo over the babies, and bf will avoid me and them at all cost. Saturday night we're watching Hunger Games. Then on Sunday we'll drive back up here and chill.

    Hi!

    Tonight BF and I are going for a run, assuming he feels better.  Travelling finally caught up to him - 4 time zones in 12 days, so he wasn't feeling well yesterday.  And then I'm going back to my parents' to snuggle my puppy, and probably play ball with her.

    Tomorrow I'm heading back to BF's, he's making me breakfast, we're going for a run, and then off to Ikea to pick out a desk for him.  I think we're going to swing by Bean's, and then we're going to see BF's parents.

    Sunday we're probably just hanging out.  We haven't really gotten that far yet.  :)

    Danser -- Good news about the dentist. I'm jealous, every time I go something is wrong. We can be liver problem buddies together! You have a fun weekend planned. I haven't been to Great Adventure in such a long time.

    My Friday is pretty crappy so far. Things are not good with Jon and me. I have a packed bag in my car and am thinking of spending some time at my sister's apartment. I could use some hugs and DEFINITELY some funnies!

    rdr - I really don't know.  I'm just putting some distance between myself and them.  I spent Wednesday night crying, and then Thursday I binged.  I feel better, emotionally, today but it's going to be rough for a while.  I'm only indirectly involved, and thankfully they seem like they are trying to keep me out of it, but it's so hard to watch the only family you have fall apart.  BLEH.

    good news:  the first of my online classes started Wednesday, so it's fun having that to concentrate on.  and H told me that my legs are looking smaller and more muscle-y since I've been doing cardio intervals regularly.  that was REALLY exciting.  I thought they were too, but to have him say it out of the blue meant a lot.  :)

    It's me!

    I am close with him. It has been a super poopy couple of years for those two people. I hope we all know ourselves better than those two did when they got hitched. Clearly they were not meant to be together forever. BUT they brought some super cool people into the world, and raised me alright, so there is that :)

    it's cake at a wedding, so who knows?  there better be chocolate, or I might have to get angry.

    I'm also hoping that the average slice of this cake is monstrous.  or I'll have to go back for seconds.

    RDR, I'm super-jeal, I LOVEEE white water rafting! I'm glad you're healthy though. I was worried about you!

    I'm not doing much this weekend - it's the last free weekend I have before all my sports start, so I'll probably just relax. Spend some time with my furry son before my life goes crazy again - and before we have to move! (Nothing is official, I'm just thinking positive.)

    I can't wait to attend another wedding. At this point, I have to wait until the end of October. But one of H's friends got engaged this week, so maybe I'll have that one to look forward to next year? We'll see...

    Sous -- I'm sorry, I had no idea things were bad-bad. How are you holding up? Have you guys talked about things? What does he have to say?

    Coco -- That's really tough. I'm sorry for what you're going through & I really hope things perk up soon. Great news about your legs though! I really hate my calves, they're entirely too large. What class are you taking?

    Jen -- My mom & stepdad have had a rough couple of years also. I think they're going to stick it out so to speak.Are they still friendly? Will it be awkward to be around them both in the future?

    They are NOT friendly. My poor sisters live with them, and my mom has said it is wicked sucky for them to be around (my parents are fighting a lot). It will be awkward, if they really follow through this time and do it.     someone help me out...

    I need recipes for 3 skinny desserts and 1 skinny appetizer, STAT.  my bday is next week, and another coworker, so I'm bringing 2 desserts for that.  tomorrow night we're having Food and Family night for our Spanish-speaking group my H co-pastors, so I need a dessert and an appetizer to bring to that.  HELP.

    so far I'm thinking this looks good (click).

    I've already made a few things on ST, but I'm browsing through her desserty things now, and I'm about to start looking at her apps.  nothing too complicated.

    So sorry for all the sucky things some of you are going through :-(

    I've been super stressed about work lately, and am probably PMSing, and basically just broke down crying last night when me and BF went to bed. I couldn't even really explain why - work had something to do with it, but that wasn't the whole reason. I think the damn BC pills I'm on are just messing with my hormones way too much. I think I should try changing brands.

    The other day I finally got to talk to my BFF for a while and got her whole proposal story. It's wierd - I'm don't think I'm *jealous* of her, because I don't want to be engaged right this second. I think I'm just feeling unsettled that someone I know really well feel like she's ready to be at that point with her BF, and they've been together about half the time BF and I have. I know you can't compare relationships like that, but I feel a little frustrated that we haven't even discussed it AT ALL. I know I could bring it up if I really wanted to, but I don't want to feel like I'm pressuring him in any way, especially with all the weddings/engagements that have been happening all around us. If only he could just read my mind and say something like "I think about marrying you someday, you know?" that'd be good enough for me! Sigh. Girl problems.
