bridetobe, these are for you!!

Here are some pics from my hair trial. THe "real deal" will be MUCH more polished (as far as how the "bun" is put together), and we decided it would look best a little bit lower on my head and slightly to the side instead of right in the middle.  What do you guys think?? I LOVE the side view, but I think it will be a lot better to the side so that in head-on pictures, you will still be able to see some of my hair poking out.

back view - will be cleaner, a few inches lower, and over to the right more

With veil


with flower - not sure if I will wear the flower under my veil or not - I will probably stick it on once the veil comes off


A few makeup pics - makeup artist is going to do a much more intense eye but in similar shades. I will also have dramatic eyeliner and more eyelashes. It looks so pretty though and was great for my shower! I just want more intense for the "real deal". The airbrush and the eyelashes definitely photographed well and it stayed on ALL DAY, which I was really happy with. She put on my makeup at 10am and it still looked perfect at 10pm when I was washing my face.

    I totally agree about shifting it to the side. I LOVE it though!

    I love all this wedding porn this morning, especially with my massive hangover.

    my fiance bought me a subscription to WEN products as my Christmas present. It works. I get a new box every two months. If you want shiny hair, BUY IT. hahahaha. I have this sad tendency to get sucked into infomercials (my current favorite are pajama jeans and the geenie bra - not that I actually want to buy those two - but the informercials are amazing) and my fiance bought me Wen as a joke but now I love it.

    thanks for the compliments ladies :) I think once it is to the side, it will be PERFECT. She is also going to give me more bumped-up volume (Texas big - I think that's what you call it bridetobe??)

    Uh, YAH. Texas big. :) I think if she added some volume, it would be perfect!

    And honestly, I used to watch infomercials when I was home sick. (That, and the Price Is Right.) I would leave post-its around my house with information on the product and the phone number my mom should call to order it. I was particularly obsessed with the kitchen gadgets. My mom thought I was a lunatic.

    hahahaha god, informercials are so awesome.

    Anyway, yeah, the top picture is seriously the most volume my hair has ever seen in its life. My hair is NOT capable of "the sex bump" on normal days. I can't wait to see what it looks like when she puts lots of product in it and bumps it up even higher. (she did the whole thing in about 40 minutes without any product at all).

    I'm so jealous of how quick your lady is. Mine took 2 hours with my trial. She better speed it up for the other people because we can't have 12 people getting their hair done and it taking 2 hours on each of them. (She is bringing two assistants, thank goodness, but still).

    I think having your haid slightly to the side will be awesome and I think the veil no flower and then add the flower for after.  :)
