Bridal Shops

Can anyone recomend a great Bridal Salon that has a good variety of plus size gowns? (Besides David's Bridal!)  I haven't started shopping yet but was hoping for some good recomendations before I headed out there!  Any help would be appreciated! I live in Port Huron but will travel for a good place!

I went to I do too in Plymouth (depending on what size you need) I had a good number to try on.  Depending on the designer I was able to try on dresses 2 -3 sizes smaller than I wear.

I second I Do Too Bridal in Plymouth. That is where I found my dress. I loved the staff there. I also had luck at B Ella in Ann Arbor and Moni's in Farmington.

    Welcome Susan!!!
    I'm a Port Huron bride too! :)

Have you looked at Georgio's yet? They have a pretty good selection.
I got my dress at Moni's in Farmington...umm, I loved loved loved my dress, but have heard some bad stories about their customer service although things went Ok for me.
I also have a phenomenal seamstress in Fort Gratiot if you're interested :):)

Let me know if you have any other questions or vendors I can help with in the area :)

    Happy planning!
    Beth.

It would be a trip from Port Huron, but Becker's Bridal in Fowler has a great selection in a wide variety of sizes and excellent customer service.

    Beth,
I love your picture! Who was your photographer?  I am excited to find another port huron bride!!!  I haven't looked at Georgios yet, but it is on my list!  You will also have to pass along your seamstress' information!!!
Have you always lived in port huron?

    Susan,
Thank you!! Our photogs were GauperPhoto...they are based out of Kzoo!
Oh yeah...I'm a lifer!! ;) haha...I graduated from PHHS in '01 & now work here in town at Mercy.

My seamstress was Stephanie McNeil. She works out of her home on Ft Gratiot. Ph: 385-8308. She is AMAZING & is really really inexpensive. I would definitely recommend you give her a call when it's time to get your dress altered.

Where is your ceremony & reception? Any other good details you wanna share?! :-P
I already miss planning!! It was SO fun! :)

Seems like everything is going so fast!!!!  We have just been engaged over a month, but have gotten so much done.  Our ceremony is at Wahby Park in Saint Clair Shores and our hall is Barrister House in St Clair Shores.  Still need flowers, cake, video/photographer and so many other things I can't think of now!  My fiance is from St Clair Shores, and it is a more central location for our families so we are doing things down there. But our shower will be up this way.

I grew up in Memphis but now live in Port Huron Township.  However, I didn't get to far from Memphis I teach there now!

Any other advice you want to throw my way I will take!

    Thanks!

My parents live in PH Twp :) Small world!

I would HIGHLY recommend my vendors for flowers, cake, & videographer...their info is in my bio.
Let me know if you have any questions about them! (They are local PH people, so not sure what they would do/charge for SCS location)
