BM's: Blouse and skirt vs. dress?

Hi ladies- one of my bridesmaids showed me a few pictures of girls wearing cotton or silk blouses (sleevless) and then a full satin skirt as the bridesmaid look. It actually looks kind of neat and I think my friends could pull it off...any thoughts? Have you guys seen this before?

I think if the BMs are fine with it and it looks flattering on all their body types, it would be good.

I think it depends. I need pictures to decide! In the end, though, it's up to what you and your girls want, so if that's what you want, go for it.

My friend did this for her wedding a couple weeks ago. I had a really hard time seeing her vision but it looked wonderful. The girls wore a copper colored satin skirt from J Crew with white tank tops and mismatched funky necklaces.

I am having trouble picturing it because when it comes to BM, I always picture dresses but thats my problem.

The first picture makes me thinking of a nursing staff, like 10 years ago. Or some sort of cruise crew.
Anyway, it's so cute! Well, the other pictures are cute. I'm not liking that first picture.
It's a much more casual look, but if that's what you're going for, I say do it.

Thanks for the pics! I agree with PP that the first picture isn't my favorite and I don't care for that look, but the others are nice, and I especially love the last look with the bright cardis! Very cute.

The girls in #1 and 3 look adorable, but that looks like an outfit I wear to work everyday.
