What kind of Veil for this dress

I am leaning more towards the fingertip, but is that to short, this is a semi-cathedral length train and normally i would go with floor length but with this being a colored train i do not want to take away from that. Sorry i do not have a full picture on my computer but this is what the train is.

that is the model link showing it better

Re: What kind of Veil for this dress

  • I would def. wear a shorter veil if I wore one at all.  Have you thought about just using a pretty hair accessory instead or are you dead set on a veil?

  • I don't think I would wear a long veil.  I would wear a fascinator or a hair piece.  A long veil would take away from that beautiful intricate embroidery and red color.

<div>I have a tiara but i also want a veil with a blusher to be lifted by my dad or groom at the end of the aisle. I think i will go with a elbow length one then, this way it does not take anything away from the train. </div><div>
</div><div>Clearheavens; that is what i am afraid of so it just reaffirms my choice and i will go with a shorter veil. thank you</div><div>

  • I would say either no veil or a  blushe.r

  • It depends on what you like......you can do a long cathedral veil but a really simple one with lace around the edges thats longer than the train on your dress. This way you can still see the details of your dress through the veil. But a nice fingertip veil is nice too!! or really a birdcage veil would look so pretty with your dress. IMO. Let us know what you decide....BTW love your dress!!!

  • Have you considered a birdcage veil?  They can be a tad longer in the back to just it the base of your head with a blusher for your father to flip for you.  I wouldn't do a veil any longer than the top of the dress.  It's way to beautiful to cover....
