Shark steam mop followup

I  went ahead and splurged on the pro model - - it has two different heads and 3 different levels of steam, and even has an on/off switch.
I used it yesterday for about 10 minutes.  I was not impressed.   I did one area of my kitchen linoleum and it didn't look much different from when I do it with my swiffer wetjet.  I didn't even show DH because I didn't want him to give me crap about spending money on something that didn't work.  :(
I'll definitely give it another try when I have more time to devote to it.

I'm sorry.  I had high hopes for it too.  *pats you lovingly on the hand*

That's a bummer, I am really loving mine. I appreciate that my floors don't feel sticky after I clean them. And it is handling my hardwood floors well too, which was a bonus.

It would be a huge PITA to return it since I've already assembled it and used it, but I will return it if it doesn't have the results I want when I use it again.

Plus, I got $30 in Kohl's cash that I plan to use tonight.  ;)

i really like mine - but my entire first floor is natural stone tile or hardwood - i think it does a nice job on the surfaces, dries fast, and leaves the floors feeling good.

Won't it eventually work out to be cheaper than the swiffer b/c you don't have to buy solution and pads?

I would drag that thing into the store, assembled, along with the box and let them handle it.

I'm sorry you don't like it.

FYI- you can return it assembled for store credit and keep the Kohl's cash.
