  lots of knotties have used weddingmapper.com.  I made my own using google maps (pics and instructions in bio). 
  
  I'd at least give wedding mapper and DIYing a shot before paying somebody else to do it.

  My fiance and I just had our map done in cartoon and it's soo awesome!! ( He made Jersey City look like just as fun as Disneyland!)  I found this guy from one of the knot boards and he's so pleasant to work with, very timely- spoke to me daily throughout the process, and he worked within our budget!!
