New to Boards-long sorry!

I have been doing a lot of reading on here and made a couple of comments, but this is my first post.  After 9 years, he finally popped the Q!  Our date is not until 10/11, but I am already looking at venues in the St Pete Beach to Clearwater Beach area.  We want a sand ceremony and ballroom dance/h'drves/bar.  We are paying for it ourselves and blown away at the $.  So far looking at the GP and Dbltree, anyother suggestions?  Went to my hometown last week and just went to 'look' at dresses w/ my Besties..........bought the Dress! Surprised

    whats your price range for your venue? dont plan too fast or youll second guess everything! im trying to hard not to plan too fast. its exciting but i cant afford to regret a decision lol!!

    I'm getting married at the Tradewinds on St. Pete Beach.  If you plan on a lunchtime wedding then it will definitely help with the price.

    Clearwater Sailing Center is my reception venue. It's right across from Sand Key Beach and the price is right. Pretty view and they don't have any rules with catering... so you can bring your own stuff. It's pretty large too! It seems to be busy on Saturdays so I kind of didn't have a choice on my date, so it's never to early to give them a call!
