I can sing, but I cannot dance.

I mean, I can do the Macarena, The Cha Cha Slide and the Cupid Shuffle, but that's about it.

At our wedding, FIL was trying to teach me to two-step. When I stepped backward, I caught the back of my dress and totally ate it.

Thankfully, I can laugh at myself and I thought it was funny. And extra thankfully, the photographer missed that moment, so when people say "Pics or it didn't happen!" then I can say, "well, I guess it iddn't"

Yeah I've had some pretty sketch karaoke incidents. One of them, funnily enough, included Ace of Base (The Sign, of course).

I've never done karaoke. I'm way too shy.

Rach, my 9th grade boyfriend tried to teach me how to play guitar once. He got VERY frustrated. I'm decent at the crafty stuff, though.

I cannot sing or dance, but I did play a variety of musical instruments. Piano, trumpet, bass clarinet, handbells, etc. I pick them up really easily. I think I might like to try to learn guitar next.

Karaoke! Woo!

My BFF and I used to go to this dive bar that had Karaoke nights on Thursdays, and we'd sing a duet of "Never Ever" by All Saints every week.

Then I'd usually sing a song that was actually good, and people looked surprise that the dumb girl singing the ridiculous song could also sing a regular song and not totally suck.

I actually can sing fairly well, but I'm an extremely awkward dancer. I think it's because when I would go to jr. High dances, I was already 6 foot tall and had well developed boobs. Boys, however, were not tall and tended to be right at boob level. So, while it may have been fun for them, it was not so much for me. I'm pretty sure I carry over the awkwardness of that time into my dancing today.

I did learn to sing a bit when Charlotte was around. She majored in Opera at School of the Arts and tried to teach me, but I can't carry a tune in a bucket.

She had an incredible voice, I would go to church with her sometimes just to hear her sing.

I have to be very, very drunk to dance. H also hates to dance. We did dance at BIl's wedding, but that's mainly because BIL and his new wife told everyone how lame we were for not dancing at our own wedding, said we had to dance at theirs, and we couldn't leave until we did.

I hate them.

Rach, I can follow recipes. I can't on the fly make my own up, nor do I have the capacity to know when a dish is "missing something".

No, no. You're totally on the right track. People need to know that it is your day and be punished for not acknowledging that fact!

I cannot sing but I can shake my booty in the proper enviroment. sometimes even in the not so proper environment. If I could be granted a talent, it would totally be to sing. I've always wanted to be able to sing. To bust out some Adele tunes and not sound like a dying animal would be awesome.
