Yeah, that's just wrong and would have resulted in a decline.

I've recieved a nasty PM before, but it was from that crazy mom. Sooo I don't really think that counts, since she was crazy and all. Plus she isn't a consistent poster. It did make me laugh though.

• I got one back in January, maybe. Didn't even notice until about a month later.

Wow...yeah, I would definitely decline that invite. But I'd send a card with a gift certificate to a grocery store or something and write "please go buy water for the people who were dumb enough to actually show up at this joke you call a wedding:" But I'm a bitch like that apparently since I don't vote for people to win free crap, so there's that...

• I got one from that crazy mom who came on here to complain about not being invited to her son's wedding and gave out all of their personal info.

• Well, if you guys would just quit being bitches, you wouldn't be getting messages from internet strangers judging your character.

DID YOU EVER THINK OF THAT?!

• Jemimi I just realized your siggy is Cabo! H had a little place there for years that his dad left him and used to take me there. You could see El Arco from his front yard. :) Have you been there before? I can give you some recommendations if you are interested. (Or you can tell me to kindly eff off if I'm being too nosy!)

[QUOTE]It all started with this thread -- http://forums.theknot.com/default.aspx?path=http://forums.theknot.com/Sites/theknot/Pages/Main.aspx/wedding-boards_outdoor-weddings_tell-guests-sitting-ground She is only going to provide 10 seats for a wedding in the park and expects the rest of the guests to sit on blankets. I have horrid allergies to grass, and I could only imagine that some of her guests would as well. She then jumped in to defend a cash grab -- http://forums.theknot.com/default.aspx?path=http://forums.theknot.com/Sites/theknot/Pages/Main.aspx/wedding-boards_etiquette_cash-debate Yep, I brought up the blanket thing because it only went to prove that someone who is insensitive enough to the comfort of her guests would also expect them to come with fistfuls of cash. I was called judgy in her PM to me, but if it's judgmental to point out someone is being rude, I'll wear the tag proudly.

OMG, imp! How dare you think that someone collapsing from an allergy attack would come before the dream of her special day?? She won't care, as long as they've left the card beforehand.
And I'm right there with you. Didn't have them until I moved here.

I love you Missy. Even though you are not smart enough to take online quizzes to find out really important information. ~cew

I should totally send you a PM telling you to eff off and stay outta my business. How dare you notice a picture I have posted in my siggy. LOL.

We've never been to Cabo before. We are using our timeshare to go down there and the hotel is actually in San Jose Del Cabo, not Cabo San Lucas, so I'm not quite sure how convenient the travel is between the two. We're always up for recommendations though :)

• It's about 30 minutes between the two towns. I have never stayed in San Jose del Cabo so I don't have any recommendations there. But if you are renting a car or anything, definitely go out to San Lucas. You can take a water taxi out to El Arco and Lover's Beach from the marina. Whatever you do, DO NOT try to swim on the Pacific side. It has a fierce rip tide and the water is really rough.

Another nice beach is on the freeway between the two cities, about 5-10 minutes east of San Lucas: Bahia Santa Maria. It is next to the Dolphin hotel so we would usually park there, grab some sodas from the bar and take the path to the east of the parking lot down to the bahia. It is a white rock beach, not sand, and there are no amenities so you need to bring your own towel and such. But the water is beautiful and turquoise and great for relaxing and snorkling. It is a little bay and one of the places the snorkling boats take tourists. The boats usually arrive around 11am so if you want peace and quiet get there early.

Bahia Santa Maria is where I imagine in my mind when I am really stressed or scared, like at the dentist when they are giving me a novocaine shot or when I'm in an airplane about to take off. :)
