Amber Springs or Crystal Springs?

Hello ladies,

Does anyone have any pricing information on these venues? They are kinda far ouside Houston but they are sure are beautful for the rustic type venue/ranch style wedding I'd love. Of course, budget is of the essence :)

If anyone has any other suggestions, I'd welcome them. I'm new in my search and love hearing others ideas and experiences. Thank you!!

I have the info for Amber Springs.  I believe Crystal Springs is the same, price-wise.

Send me a private message with your email address and I'll forward it to you.

I am getting married at Amber Springs this coming spring. We absolutely LOVE it!! When we toured it for the first time, we loved it so much that my mom, FMIL, & I all ended up in happy tears, so we pretty much decided that was "the place" after that! Linda, the owner at Amber Springs, is so awesome and has been so helpful helping us plan and giving us advice even though its more of a DIY wedding type place. She is always willing to answer any questions that we have.

Just a side note that I believe they are building a "Crystal Springs" type venue (limestone type) on the Amber Springs property and an "Amber Springs" type venue (pine wood type) on the Crystal Springs property, so you should have lots of options. They are also working on another one somewhere near Katy that I think should be ready sometime this summer in case that is more convenient for you. We booked our May 2012 last March 2011 and she was pretty full even that far ahead, so I would suggest booking it as quickly as possible. But maybe with all of their new additions, they will have some more openings. Good luck!

  • I'm not sure if you are looking for more of a DIY venue or a full service venue. Also, what is your budget? I just attended a wedding at Amber Springs last weekend and it is a beautiful venue however it is very DIY, you have to bring in all of your own vendors (caterers, DJ, linens, centerpieces, flowers, cake, etc...) and that can get pretty pricey. We are getting married at Ashelynn Manor Feb 2013, it is a full service venue with a seperate chapel and reception area, it's very pretty and they do alot for you there. It's definitely worth getting additional information of thats the type of venue you are looking for. The sister property to Amber Springs that is currently under construction right now will be in the Brookshire area between Sealy and Katy.
