  • Laura, it doesn't look like any ordinary day.  You look so pretty and  I love your bustle as well!  Congrats!
  • Nu uh.  Opal sky?  Seriously?
  • Maybe, but I'm not sure how that could have happened. I don't have my last name anywhere in the email. Oh well, nothing to be done about it, just a little freaked out.

    Ditto that.  Majorly.  DH too.

Laura - your hair looks great too!  And you guys are so cute and happy looking in those photos.

  • Ditto baby fever. It doesnt help that no one thinks we're going to make it the planned 4 years until we start trying.

Seriously?!  None of you noticed this?!

  • Am I the only one who was reading it Opal Sky all along?

    And thanks for the compliments!
  • I thought it was opal skee too!!

Also, I'm surprised no one has commented on the disliking oral comment :)

I'll confess that H and I have had a horrendous sex life for a while now. When we do have sex it's still great, but it happens so infrequently it worries me sometimes. Poor guy, I've said no so many times I think I beat him down and he just doesn't expect sex any more. First I blamed the wedding and birth control, now I'm off BC, but now I blame the new house and the puppy. I really thought it would get better off of BC :(

Eh, I noticed it, but  I know several girls who don't like it. It's not my favoritest thing in the whole world either. It's just alright.

  • I noticed, Someone else has said that before too, crazy girls :)

Yea, it doesn't help my baby fever when my mom gets choked up talking about me having kids and how she hopes she's still alive when I do.
  • Ha yay amoro! I thought I was the only one who noticed it.

  • Tlv, have sex once a week.  Make it part of your schedule.  Seriously.

  • Amoro I noticed but I'm the same way so it didn't really phase me. :)

Night_Sprite, what makes you think he'll smother you? Does he do it now? When one of my friends started dating her husband he was really, really bad. He would follow her around while she was getting ready to leave and everything. He grew out of it  though, if you will. He quit doing it a long time ago.
  • Tlv - right there with you.  I changed b/c 6 weeks ago and I haven't turned it around yet either.  Between my drinking, the desire to smoke and lack of sex drive I doubt I could get pregnant right now even with my baby fever.

Oh, also not a fan of the oral.
  • Actually if I'm being really honest, I don't love oral either. Maybe I just haven't given H enough practice :)

And night you're right, I need to do it consciously instead of waiting for sex to just happen, because we're both so busy now and work opposite schedules, so it never happens unless one of us plans it at least a half hour in advance :)

  • WHAT WHAT WHAT?!

I can't believe there are so many people who don't like it.  Wow.  Giving, I can get with that train though I've never been bothered.  But receiving? Sign me up baby!
  • Laura, not consistently.  Sometimes when I'm thinking or working or zoning out he comes in and wants to kiss me or hug me or whatever.  Sometimes he wants to kiss me 40 times and then I get stabby.  It's just tough because I love him a lot and snuggly cuddly time is good, just not always.

This.  I think we both have a lot on our minds.  When he's ready, I'm tired and when I'm ready - he's snoring.  Even on the weekends we can't seem to get in sync.

    I'm a fan as well.
  • I think I worry myself about sex issues. I loved oral with a different guy I dated in college, although it only happened a few times since it was a short lived relationship, but I don't love it with H. He actually wasn't the best kisser either when we started dating, but I taught him better :) Sex is better with him than anyone else, so that's good, I guess I just always imagined that my husband would be the best at everything. So either that was unrealistic or I'm doomed to divorce because of oral. Ok maybe I should stop the TMI posts.
