Question About Toasts!! Need advice!!

Okay ladies... neither my fiancé or I are wine or champagne drinkers.. there is our problem....what in the world to do during our toasts. We thought about some well disguised mixed drink that looked like wine or champagne but we were unsure. Anyone else run into this problem or have any ideas??

You can do a "drink in hand" toast... which means everyone just toasts whatever they are drinking. I think its fine to have toasting flutes -- but not do champagne -- you could do beer or a mixed drink (sans ice)!! YOU are paying the bartender/caterer-- they will do whatever you want!

I was really sick the day of my wedding and knew there was no way I'd be able to drink alcohol so the wedding planner put ginger ale in my champagne flute and it looked just like DH's champagne, bubbles and all! That is an idea and no one would even know!

Apple cider is an option. I have seen that at a few different weddings.

I am doing a mimosa toast. I am having a Southern Belle themed wedding and that drink coordinates really well with it. My cousin SERIOUSLY over-indulged at her bachelorette party so for her wedding she just had Ginger Ale in her toasting flute. Sparkling cider would be a good option too!
