Wedding Woes

s/o Easter. Blasphemy!!

I was rambling last Sunday and realized that Jesus could potentionally be the OZ (original zombie).  And of course my brother thought this was hilarious, but everyone else was all ::side-eye::.

::shrug::

I said I was rambling.

    Jesus did not come back to life and eat people.  Zombie jokes about Jesus are annoying.

    I'm reminded of The Pope in Neil Gaiman's short story "Fifteen Painted Cards from a Vampire Tarot".

    I'm right there with you O, but I'm not a big believer in Jesus.

    Also, I don't think this is any more offensive than someone being Jewish, Scientologist, Buddhist or any other religion that puts fairly little stock in Jesus and his "miracles."  To them, he was just a guy... if they believe he existed.

    the whole OZ thing must have been post-Cana-wedding, cause otherwise it would have been "turned water into BRAINS!"

    Ah, I found it!

    "'This is my body', he said, two thousand years ago.  'This is my blood.'

    It was the only religion that delivered exactly what it promised: life eternal, for its adherents.

    There are some of us alive today who remember him.  And some of us claim that he was a messiah, and some think he was just a man with very special powers.  But that misses the point.  Whatever he was, he changed the world."
