Has anyone used this guys before? If so how did you like them? My FI and I won a half off package of our choice from the Lansing Bridal Show. They are revamping their site so i cant get any kind of reviews. We are meeting with then next weekend and wanted to be prepaired.

    Hey

    We're using them for our Wedding in November. They were really professional when we met with them and I haven't found anything negative about them online. They have a facebook website but that's it for right now.

    did you happen to win the Sping SweetHearts Package? I got a call about this a few days ago saying we won 50% off their $1200 package... metting with them tonight and I am doing my research which is how I came across your posting. How did it turn out for you??

    Ummmm your wedding date says September 2012.  Interesting how you JUST joined today and have already reviewed this one vendor twice.  Vendors are not allowed to post on the boards.  And you actually do severe damage to your business by impersonating a bride.

    were you able to get any money back from Premier Sound???? I have them booked for my wedding in April 2012 and you've got me legitimately worried now!

    I expect that I will be sucessful. I hope to get what I paid and enough to pay the dj that bailed us out.  Their assumed name is from Saginaw County.  Have you been in contact with them?

    I just received an email from a Robert Lyvere of Prestige Entertainment stating that I won a 50% off dj package. He said he didn't have a website and that he does all his business from bridal shows where I won my package from ( The Palace of Auburn Hills Bridal show). Is this the same guy/company that everyone is talking about. I would like to know if he is real and if his work is professional. I don't live near the business to meet him. His offer seems legite but I'm worried that I'm getting ripped off. He says if I pay in full I can get the package for $450.

    I paid JOSHUA BARZ and ROBERT LYVERE with Premier Sound or now
    "PREMIER ENTERTAINMENT" up front with a contract to do my wedding in August. After numerous attempts to contact them in July and beginning of august, they never called back. I got worried and of course they did not SHOW UP for my reception. Thankfully a DJ that I met at a bridal show... PERFECTPARTYMUSIC.COM came at the last minute and did an Awesome job at my reception. The dance floor was packed the entire night!!    
     I am trying to contact the men who screwed me over and I will SUE THEM!!!  Do not trust these men!!!   Paying up front is not the way these things are done, which is how these people were able to take the money and never follow through. As a Bay City, MI Native, I have heard of similar stories lately where they paid Premier Sound upfront $600 or more, did not sign a contact, and had a no show at there reception.   Please do your research.     Always sign a contract!!!!

    Signed with them for my wedding next nov. 2012. I hope it works because while i paid the half off price, i got a reciept and a contract. I am hearing some good and some bad from people. Not sure how i should take it. I guess its fine for now, anytime i try to get ahold of them they are timely and efficient...

    I hope it works outs for you as well. I just found it strange that he said he couldn't lower the price since he would be traveling all day and wouldn't make a profit. (I had asked for  a lower price because we already have dinner music planned.) A few days later though he drops the price $100 stating that he was having great sucess with the bridal shows. He then drops it another $50  for a total of $399. Oh to get this deal I would have to pay all of it up front.

    I have also booked my wedding with Prestige Entertainment (Robert Lyvere). I  received a call from him about a week after attending the Bridal Show at the Palace of Auburn Hills in September 2011. I paid $399 up front and will owe the rest-$326 on our wedding day (total of $625) and signed a contract. He mailed us a receipt. After reading this blog I am getting nervous about our decision. Has anyone else had a positive experience with him??

    Ive been at 3 weddings robert has done. I liked his energy and the music he played. I made the mistake of booking josh. Im curently trying to get my money back. I got a hold of robert because he used to work with josh. He appologized for joshs lack of integrity and explained somethings to me. After talking with him I did some research. Turns out josh has skipped out on 14 weddings. I dont believe robert has anything to do with it. I could be wrong but thats just what it looks like. So if you did book robert im sure you will be pleased. I hope i could help out. Good luck

    Went to a wedding over the weekend (my cousins) that premier sound was SUPPOSED to be at, no one showed. They paid the whole $1200, and what scares me is we have them booked for our wedding this coming year. Needless to say, they had their chance and i will try to get my down payment back. This should never happen to anyone.

    I just got married 11-11-11 & used Josh ... Get your money back if you can, if you can't book another DJ and just consider what you paid him a loss.

    He messed up both our mother/son and Father/daughter dance, started playing music in the middle of the ceremony on accident and got completely wasted, to make it worse he also hit on & fondled our bestman's date!
     
    I honestly will punch him in the face if I EVER see him again. We were douped into believing he was a nice guy and we were wrong. We won the 50% off packege which ment we had to pay in full up front inorder to book because the deposit was 50% of the package price.

    I'm pist, so is my husband and everyone close to the situation.

    He was very hard to get a hold of and always had some excuse (that sounded heartfelt) to explain what was going on. When ever I confronted him about any of the issues I was reading about he blew it off and blamed it on the bride/groom.

    DO NOT USE HIM!!!

    As far as his partner Bob, he met with us as well then Josh "fired" hime for being unreliable ... Sounds like Bob was smart and ran away as fast as he could. I would actually like to speak with Bob if anyone has a good number to get a hold of him at.

Sealed............maybe you were recently a photographer at a wedding that the dj was a no show?     However this can be verified as public record Document #2010-0000397 filed in Saginaw County list Robert Lyvere and Josh Barz as owners of Premier Sound valid until 2015.

    Lets forgive you and the problems caused.

    What about the money Bob? How about getting my money back. It did pass through your account.

    And thank God the Knot has allowed this moment. They would not allow honest responsible people to warn this was a scam long ago.

    Maybe the knot can stand up and explain also. Surely they know the wedding business and knew it was wrong to pay the whole amount up front?


    Forgiven yes ..........but you still owe the money back to all of us.

    What I have learned from this....  Just like school.  Do your homework. I will try to never fall for a half off, pay in full now, won a prize offer again.  If it sounds too good to be true it probably is.  In the future I will try to always deal with a real company.    I found out there are no obligatory standards for DJ's.  I can be one tomorrow with my IPod. I found out the hard way that anybody can be a vendor at a bridal show. Just be willing to pay the $1000 or so for a 8x10 booth. I found out the hard way that the company that has a website, a land line telephone in the yellow pages, has liability insurance, and Company identifiable vehicles, have a significant investment of time and money are more likely to be who they are then not.  Easily found before and after.  Much harder to disappear and disappoint. Life has no money back guarantee.    In the long run it was only money lost. I will get over this. Best to all.

    What you have made " Crystal Clear" is that you are retarded. You ran a business and did not fulfill. Maybe that post that you created will help you sleep better at night, but it will not bring back a day that dozens of men and women spent thousands of dollars on. Whomever you are putting the blame on, put some on yourself. You and your company screwed over many people. Its not over just because you tried to clear your name.  
    You are a joke.    You were in the company, and were aware the entire time of what was happening.

    Ok, so here's the real question.  Did any of you get any of your money back?  I have an original receipt signed by Josh.  They took the original contract saying I would get a copy in the mail.  When that didn't happen, I sought them out at another bridal show and Bob signed another contract for me to keep.  I don't know who signed the contract that they have, I just want my money back.  What a mess.  So how do I get my $300 deposit back?  I paid for it by credit card, but that was back in april 2011 and I already paid off the balance.  Do you think I will still be able to dispute the charge?  Ugh I need help!
